EYE-FRIENDLY & GLARE-FREE TOUCHSCREEN: The E-Ink Carta touchscreen provides a high-resolution reading experience, making it ideal for long reading sessions. Enjoy an eye-friendly 6-inch display that comes as close as possible to a page on paper.
PERFECT LIGHTING: The adjustable SMARTlight allows you to personalize the screen’s brightness and color tone. With the automatic mode, it adapts to the time of day and your environment. The Dark Mode reduces eye strain by darkening the background and brightening the text in low-light settings.
WATERPROOF: Dive into e-books with IPX8 waterproof protection! Enjoy uninterrupted reading as this e-reader withstands immersion in fresh water up to 2 meters deep for up to 1 hour, without any worries or harmful consequences.
ENHANCED AUDIO CAPABILITIES: With the Text-to-Speech function, the e-reader can voice any text in one of 26 languages, turning it into an engaging audio track. It also supports 6 major audio formats, ideal for audiobook enthusiasts. Thanks to Bluetooth, the device seamlessly connects to wireless headphones or car systems for an uninterrupted audio experience.
SUPPORTS MOST POPULAR FORMATS WITHOUT CONVERSION: The e-reader supports 25 formats, including EPUB, FB2, DOC, DJVU, PDF (DRM), JPEG, CBR, and CBZ. Open a wide range of books, documents and images without wasting time converting files. Verse is also compatible with online library services, thanks to its Adobe DRM support.

Great build quality
Device is super solid, materials and everything feel super premium, probably my favorite of any ereader! It is pretty heavy and I did find it a bit awkward to use the buttons while reading due to the location at the bottom of device. They are super well implemented buttons however! Not easy to accidentally push them. The screen is good, not as evenly lit as the paperwhite, but not terrible. Only a slight shadow at the bottom of screen. The case is also lovely, feels super silky on the inside of it, nice texture on the outside. This does mean that you might loose grip on it though. The software is both a plus and a con. You have so many choices. Everything can be customized, including getting rid of book recommendations! If you use calibre it reads series info automatically, no fiddling needed. Formatting of books is a bit difficult to get right and does take some tinkering. I was able to add my own fonts that helped a lot.TLDR great build it all comes down to if you want to mess around in settings a ton.

Great little ereader
I bought this as my second ereader as my Kindle Oasis is getting a bit heavy for me. I’m very glad to find out that this is a light reader and very easy to hold. I’ve been using this as my main reader because of the ergonomics. The screen looks great, it works perfect. However, I have noticed that the lighting is slightly darker on the Verse Pro than on my Kindle. But I don’t really notice it when I use the device, just when they are side-by-side.Their bookstore is not as good as others, so do your research on how you get books on your Pocketbook. It’s pretty easy once you know what to do.

probably the best 6″ e-reader out there
Whether Pocketbook could integrate the latest technologies among the first, or it was always only their advantage, the way Verse Pro handles the various book formats, especially the most stubborn of them – pdf, is just amazing! Text-to-speech is unbelievably clear and accurate, thanks to so many voices available to download freely and it works across all formats. And physical buttons to turn the pages are very handy, you would never accidentally click on them. After trying Kindle Vogue and Kobo Aura One, Verse Pro eliminated for me all the disadvantages to read e-books vs paper…now it may be misses only the smell:)

Love the buttons
I love buttons, the touch screen, the weight, and it easy to navigate and search. The screen clarity is sharp too. Pocketbook makes solid devices and their newest one is good. Though I do miss the microSD card option.

I wanted anereader that read the bookwithout an added speaker
I wanted an ereader that I did not have to use an added speaker. When you said that it had text to speech, that is what thought you were sending me.

case opened on a fall
I bought this a few weeks ago to replace my Pocketbook Touch HD 3. Overall, this provides about the same quality and utility. Its basically just the HD3 in a different caseBut the build-quality has fallen off considerably. The new design broke on its first fall. The case opened up and–I guess–part of the ribbon to the screen disconnected. Anyway, the left quarter inch or so no longer updates.I’m going back to the HD3. If I need to replace it, I’ll look for another HD 3.

No SD card
I wanted to buy an e reader so that I could read pdf files that were on my laptop or phone on this ereader instead, but they removed the SD card to make it pointlessly more difficult to sideload pdf files. Do yourself a favor and buy an ereader that doesn’t have such a basic feature removed.

Da quando ho acquistato il pocketbook ho raddoppiato la quantità delle mie letture.Ottimo dispositivo. Supporta tutti i formati. Batteria eterna. Riproduce Audiolibri tramite cuffie bluetooth.
Funktioniert so weit. –
