Silky Keypresses, but Mac users should wait
This keyboard is deliciously smooth. Typing on it is the kind of tactile joy that almost excuses talking about âcreaminessâ in a tech review. Each keypress is fluid, satisfying, and has just the right amount of clickâa muted, mellow sort of sound that strikes the perfect balance between feedback and restraint. Thereâs none of that jarring âtap-dance-on-a-deskâ quality that can come with mechanical keys. Instead, each stroke feels intentional and⦠dare I say, luxurious? If youâre a keyboard purist, this kind of refined typing experience might be exactly what youâve been looking for. It feels nice, it’s got flip-down feet at the back, it is pretty… not too shabby!But alas, this is where the keyboardâs elegant debut hits an unexpected snag: the Mac experience.I havenât tested it on Windows, where it may indeed glide along in perfect harmony. On a Mac, however, itâs⦠well, distinctly un-creamy. The proprietary software needed to set up critical features like the ever-present clock on the upper-right screen is unavailable for Mac. Thereâs no way to change any settings without it, which leaves you staring at a clock that you canât set, flashing lights you can’t control, and a fancy knob which controls volume when you turn it and does nothing when you click it.Those features are just the frosting, really. But the cake isn’t more palatable – the Delete key refuses to perform its primary duty. Delete simply doesnât delete. Now, if you enjoy having keys that do nothing, this may bring you some ironic joy, while it brings the rest of us fury.One additional quirk – the key labels are a bit haphazard. Theyâre recognizable, but thereâs a certain whimsy to their alignmentâsome letters and symbols are positioned slightly off-center or inconsistently sized. Itâs as though each key got a little extra flair, like the designer said, âYes, itâs a letter, but make it art!â While this doesnât impact functionality, it is somewhat distracting, and makes the keyboard appear cheap even as the rest of it feels premium.In the end, this keyboard is a bit like Derek Zoolanderâbeautiful, but not especially bright. The hardware itself is top-notch: the typing experience is truly satisfying, the design is thoughtfully constructed, and every key feels wonderfully smooth under the fingers. Yet the Mac experience is hampered by quirks that make it less than user-friendly, from a Delete key that wonât delete to software-dependent features that simply arenât accessible. Fortunately, these issues seem like software oversights rather than hardware flaws, so a little tweaking could bring out its full potential. Until then, itâs all style with room for more substance.

Decent keyboard
My issues is there is no time adjustment in the settings to display on the screen, you screwed if you want it 12-hour clock, so far it’s locked in 24-hour clock. Simple software update adding that feature would make it a 5 star. Love the switches tho, amazing keyboard besides that issue.** UPDATE **Tried to reach out to there support same day purchased and well no response. So if you want a keyboard that has software support or any type of support good luck.** UPDATE #2 **Finally got in touch with customer service, and flat out told me “sorry you cannot change the 24-hour clock to 12-hour clock. Which they should have included to begin with and there customer service is very vague and disappointing.

Pretty good overall
Overall, I think the keyboard is well made and quite a good deal for the price. For around $80, you get pre-lubed switches, good quality keycaps, three modes of connectivity, an OLED screen and a knob. The switches are lubed well and actually sound very good. The stabilizers don’t seem to be lubed (there might just be a little bit of lube, if any) but are screw-in, so they are stable and won’t make any sound. The screen and knob aren’t all that great, they just serve their intended use. If you want to change any settings with the screens or keys, you’d have to download the software which isn’t pretty nor the best to use, but is good enough to get the job done, i.e., setting macros, changing key functions, changing the lighting and changing the screen settings.

So many pros and so many cons
Iâm a huge keyboard buff so when I came across this keyboard I really wanted to try it out and add it to my collection. Iâm going to lay it all out with pros and cons here.Pros:- Incredibly silky smooth keys that produce a very satisfying sound.- Volume control is very convenient.- Full sized but squished together to make it more compact.- Ability to use a dongle, Bluetooth, or wired connection.- RGB with different modes and such for lighting.- Comes with extra switches, key cap puller, and a charging/connection cable.Cons:- You canât change the time on it. Itâs two hours off for me and thereâs nothing I can do about it. Itâs quite infuriating.- Itâs heavy, which is good, but itâs VERY flimsy. Terrible deck flex, twists and alarming amount.- Itâs very tall. My Ducky keyboard, including the keys, is as tall as the deck on this keyboard. Youâre going to need a wrist rest.- The volume control knob feels awful.- Backlight doesnât shine through the keys which is a huge miss at this price.Unfortunately I do not recommend this keyboard. There are so many better options out there for the same price or less. I do have to give it credit for how beautifully smooth the keys are. They had so much potential with this keyboard but they cheaped out in too many places.
