Works Perfectly
Over time, I was finding that I could only get sound out of both headphones if I held the jack “just so” in my Xbox controller – move a tiny bit and there went half of my soundstage. Thanks to the detachable cable, I could spend a fraction of what I’d spend on an all new headset and got the same quality sound experience I got when I originally purchased these.

Didnt last long
It worked somewhat at first, it worked perfectly for my Xbox controller but for some odd reason it would barely work at all once I tried to use it for my phone, but after a few weeks, maybe a month, the wire started to come loose where you need to wiggle it to get one side of your headset playing sound. I bought the headset I have so I could simply swap out the wires instead of the entire thing when this happens, but I shouldnt have to do so every few weeks.

It’s a replacement cable all right
Well, what can I say… it’s a cable and it works, replacing the last cable I had to purchase bcs the original one stopped working. If you drop your controller or get the cord caught and yank on it accidentally in anyway, there’s a chance it can stop working, or at least start buzzing. But, the new one works fine…. so far. 4 stars bcs of ease of purchase, price, and fast shipping. Didn’t give the last star bcs of price.

Cheap rattling knock off
This is a cheaply made knock off with loose volume adjustment knob and switch that rattles. It also costs more than the official replacement cable from the company. I used it for the first time right out of the box I unplugged it once to compare the sound quality to my original cloud alpha cord and when I plugged it back in to get a second listen it COMPLETLY STOPPED WORKING. like what the hell literally one use and I got 30 seconds of usability out of this cord. This is a complete sham.
