Perfect replacement
The one I received from the manufacturer was bulky and not very pliant. This one fits and works perfectly with the same sound input/output quality and manuverability.

Don’t know if I got a bad one.
Plugged it in within one hour it started to get choppy. Just replaced the adapter so I know its not the adapter. Hopefully someone reaches out and try to solve the issue. Now the mic goes in and out. If I press on the volume button it works for a little bit.

Better than the Hyperx cable, but doesnât last
With this cable, you get sound out of BOTH EARS. If youâre looking at this item, you probably know exactly why thatâs something to call out in a review. Hyperx manages to produce excellent headsets with cables that rival truck stop $5 headphones. By rival, I mean they are terrible. This product fixes that shortcoming.
After probably 6-8 months, Iâm looking for a replacement. This cable gets really, really twisted. I assume being untwisted so many times had broken some wires inside the cable. Too bad it didnât last.

Poor quality
Very poor quality volume dial/mic shunt assembly. Loses sound in right headphone speaker when you adjust the volume. Loose connection. Malfunctioned out of the box. Will have to cut out the junction and resolder. Have gone through 5 different cables from different manufacturers in less than two years.

Good cord
Works great no issues I play on pc and use it as my audio wire that goes into to my mic from my headset I have used it for my console a few times the switch to mute works fine every time so does the volume wheel. The little plastic box where the controls are feels lighter and a bit cheeper than the original hyper x cord at first but nonetheless itâs a great replacement

cable failed in a month and a half
cable has a break in it at the strain relief already, and ive only had it a month and a half.

Not a great option
Had the cord work for a week with some static when plugging in, cord totally failed with mic and canât talk to teammates. Worst replacement cord so far.
