Kinda weak and bulky.
I’m pretty particular with grips, and unfortunately this one was just so-so.The stand aspect was great. The hinges have the right amount of strength so your phone doesn’t start slowly dropping down while you’re just trying to do dishes and watch a video. The adjustability is really its strong point and I like that part.However the magnets are not as strong as I like. They’re actually not very strong at all, they’ll hold my phone (Samsung Galaxy s24 ultra so it’s a big heavy one) but it was constantly just coming off without much stress.It’s also really bulky and thick, and the small finger ring only comes up / out about halfway so I could not get a comfortable grip. I still can’t. It’s on my phone right now and I’ve got a big old crease on the inside of one of my finger crotches because I cannot figure out a way that is both comfortable and still a position where I can trust it not to pop off.

Tinker with it and you’ll fall in love
Honestly didn’t love it at first, but after tinkering with it for a couple days, I’m happy to say that it’s the best “finger loop/grip” that I’ve used in 10 years! Most of the mag-safe finger-loops suffer the same problem – you end up gripping the phone way too high up which makes typing uncomfortable. I was trying to find a way to bring the “loop” down, and technically, you can do that with this grip – but the center loop suffers another problem that all the other metal loops do – it doesn’t “grip” your finger… but then I discovered that the hinges on this are strong enough to allow you to position your hand comfortably, then you just “squeeze” the grip into a “z” shape that grips your finger in a spot that is comfortable and still allows you to type without reaching. All of a sudden, I could surf on my phone for hours with comfort! Lover it!
