Has pretty much every game I remember as a kid
I was happy to find the 20,000 games wasn’t just a number. It includes Legend of Zelda, Mortal Kombat series, Mario Brothers, etc and the popular games from our childhood. It even includes Final Fantasy! The only game I couldn’t find that I missed so far was Super Nintendo Mario Cart.I can think of only a couple potential issues people might want to know about:1. The controllers are powered by two AA batteries, so the batteries are bound to die and the wireless controllers are not rechargeable. I upgraded my rating from 4 stars to 5, because it occurred to me that it’s not necessarily a bad thing that you have full control over the batteries without having to buy new controllers when the batteries die. Besides, with these kind of remote signal they seem to last a long time so far.2. The buttons on the controllers don’t always match perfectly on the games being played as they were originally designed. I’m not sure if this was by design to avoid copyright issues, but it’s worth noting. As an example, for a game like Mortal Kombat, the high punch, low punch, high kick, low kick may not be exactly as remembered, but you can still perform special moves usually in the same exact ways as the originals. This was another reason I used to have a 4 star rating. HOWEVER! Good news! I discovered today, that in the game, you can swap the X Y buttons in the game menu and achieve the exact same button configuration in the original game. Performing my first fatality in 30 years was epic nostalgia! They also provided an extra USB cable, I suspect in case one of them didn’t work. It’s also easy to turn the controller off with a simple switch on the controller. In the menu you can browse for games, search for games by name, or browse by console types, and it captures the history of previously played games so it’s easy to find the games you played before. There’s annoying beep in the selection menu, but you can change it or turn it off in the options. When you’re playing a game, the controllers work pretty much as expected. There wasn’t some huge delays or strange positioning of the buttons such that are awkward for your fingers. You can also save a games state and load from a state which can speed things up.Setting it up wasn’t too difficult either. I had to plugin the wireless dongle and then plug it into the HDMI port on my TV. I then needed to plug the USB power cord into a USB power port for power. They also include an HDMI extension cable to avoid something getting pinched against the wall, I assume. It was so fun playing with my kids! They had a blast! Maybe they’ll be motivated to do their responsibilities now?

It is an okay emulator
This thing works but it has a lot of knock off, half complete, and repeated games on the device. It lets you look at the ROM files, but when I popped the Micro SD Card out to see if I can add my own ROM files to have the correct version of the games my computer does not support the language the whole UI and Emulators are programmed in. Sadly I don’t know Mandarin at all to run Virtual Machine set it Mandarin as the default language to see if I can add my own Roms. But what I can see you might or might not be able to.All in all for the price and the games you do get on this I think it is worth it. Though Idk the legality of this device because in the device it lets me view the ROM files and they are all legit rips from NES, SNES, SMD, Atari, Gameboy, and MAME.Snatch it up if you can but I don’t think this device is legal at least in the USA for the copy rights and ownership of the files on the device. I Really wish people who made these things would though just make the emulator and the UI so you can just take the Micro SD card and load your own roms on it. Then the legal side of everything over rom ownership would fall on the person who loaded the roms to the device not the person selling the device.

Finally, a Retro Console with the Ability to SAVE!
I’ve been trying to get a Retro Console Emulator for a while now, but always pass on them because none of them have any sort of save feature so you ALWAYS have to start over (especially frustrating in games like Donkey Kong Country and Yoshi World). I snagged this one because, while the description does not specifically say you can save, the emulator style suggested that you may be able to. I was so happy to find that it did and that alone is worth the price of the unit for me. The fact that it also includes two wireless remotes, doesn’t have to be connected to the internet, and runs REALLY smoothly are all just gravy on top. The game selection is excellent and includes a search feature to make finding specific games much easier. “Mario” for example yields pages and pages of results, all of which are real old school Mario Games. That being said, there are definitely a few games that don’t work quite as well or don’t look quite right, but with more than 2000 games to play I find it hard to be mad about that. It is important to note the consoles included on this do NOT include Nintendo 64, but pretty much everything before that. It’s also important to know that the controllers are not rechargeable, so have batteries ready (pretty sure it was two AAA each).Overall I am STOKED about this device and am surprised that the current reviews only give it 3.5 stars. For the price (currently $35 with an additional 25% off coupon) I have a hard time complaining about it at all.

Lots of retro games
Got this for my 10 year old son, to show him what games were like back in my day. The setup was straightforward. It appears that the interface is in Chinese, so games donât necessarily have the same title that you are used to. There are different ways ti search for games, so this makes it less challenging to find the game that you are looking for. I was really impressed at how many games there were available. I found it very nostalgic to play these old games and my son enjoyed them too. I think this is a good product and we havenât had any problems. We find it very entertaining and I like sharing these old games with my kids.
