A little tiny for my hands, but works well
This is definitely a system aimed for people with smaller hands. I don’t have banana hands by any stretch, but it makes me feel like a giant while i’m holding it. That said, it runs well and I haven’t run into any major game playback issues. The screen in bright and clear, I even popped a few 480p videos on there and at this scale they look HD. Lot’s of games to choose from and the 16 bit stuff looks especially stunning.

This is a great product. I enjoy many of the classics on it. Downloading other games from pc does take some understanding of computer operating but is still a lot of fun..

Brings back so much memories of my childhood
This retro handheld game brings back so much memories of my childhood at the arcade. This little unit has so many old games loaded that I will probably never play them all. This unit is small, probably the size of a old candy bar style cell phone of the 80’s. It’s the perfect size to carry in your pocket and have it with you all the time.According the box and the unit itself, it’s a Anbernic RG28XX. The unit itself feels solid. The plastic and all the buttons feels very high quality. It comes with a 64GB TF card with all the games loaded on it. This is my first experience with this type of retro handheld game console and I love it. It so much fun to be able to just pull this out of my pocket and play a quick game.The only issues I came across is that the technical specification in the description on the listing states that it supports wireless 2.4G and wired controller, but there is no mention of how this is done. I’m guessing it requires a OTG adapter.One thing to be aware that the screen is pretty small, 2.83″ to be exact. So if you have problem with your near sight, you might have a problem seeing what’s on the screen. You can image the text and graphics is very small. I tried playing Resident Evil and I can barely see what I’m doing. Simpler graphics games are fine.

This is my second retro handheld I’ve used and I think this is a contender. The Linux OS is snappy and pretty intuitive. This device even has the ability to play MP3s which is interesting…Compared to the RG35XX this thing is much smaller and more cramped feeling but it doesn’t lack power. This was designed to be a grab and go, play for 10 minutes here and there device, not one you’d sit down and play for hours on end. The button layout is good for the size, functional. The IPS display is beautiful and bright for its size.Is $70 worth it…? Maybe, or maybe not. This device has plenty of power to play everything up to select PS1 games but you are limited by the size and IO. This is a great device for older kids, its small and doesn’t have wifi connectivity which is a plus.I was concerned that I was not going to receive a legit Anbernic device BUT I did and that made me happy.
