How Nostalgic!
Iâve been really liking this retro gaming console – itâs the perfect mix of nostalgia and modern tech. The design is sleek and feels great in hand and the screen is bright and crisp, with fantastic colors that make retro games look better than I remembered! I have a handheld GB color with no backlighting and it’s incredible how much a difference this screen is on this console. One of my favorite things is this has games from retro systems like SNES and PS1 – I’ve been dreaming about playing Crash Bandicoot and Tomb Raider and now I finally can! Loading up the games was easy but it does take a little bit of time to learn the navigation (saving games, exiting, etc.). If youâre a fan of classic games and want a handheld console thatâs reliable and fun, this is a great choice.

Nostalgia to the Max – Great Console
I saw this console on Amazon and had to be given it a try. Reminding of my old game boy color, I knew it would fill my desire for nostalgia in video games. I was blown away when I got it going just how much it has to offer.The console itself is great, functionality wise. The buttons are in comfortable spots and the triggers on the back make it possible to play all of the games that require them.The games, my gosh, the games! There is over 4300 games pre installed and then youâre free to add any that you want with the press of a mouse click.The battery life is good, have used it for a few days and just now needed its first full charge.Overall, this little handheld console has everything youâd want. It would be the perfect Christmas gift for loved ones old and young!

It works but it can be frustrating
This is a powerful device with a lot of popular games on it. I played Tomb Raider and Sonic the Hedgehog and they both worked great. The sceen is tiny but clear, and the games are fun to play.Be sure to find a chip in the bottom of the box and insert it in the slot to get the games.I am taking one star off because the user interface is terrible. There are too many buttons and they are in odd places and some of them are redundant and some of them don’t work the way you’d expect. I kept getting stuck in incomprehensible menus with no clear way out. The A button launches a game but I had to press every other button several times to figure that out. For some reason I thought “select” is what you should press to choose a menu option, but I was wrong about that.The manual is printed in tiny print on one side of a sheet of paper and it contains technical jargon that is minimally useful. This product would greatly benefit from a well-written user manual.Once you figure out how to launch a game, and what keys to press, the device works very well. The graphics and music are quite nice and the buttons are responsive. The games are great, like they always were.

Blast from the PAST!
So I’ve had a couple of these GB like emulator devices.This is one of the better ones I’ve used. Being able to dual boot from Linux into Android is pretty nice if you want to use some android apps. There are some reasons to use Linux over android and also the other way.This is going to run PS1 and under. I Haven’t tested anything higher than that but everything I’ve thrown at it is playable.the screen is nice and bright with the colors looking great! The buttons are mushy wish they were clicky.all in all its a good device there are cheaper but anbernic is best in class honestly

A great retro game console for any fanatic.
I remember having a Game Boy for a long time and enjoying the time spent playing all the silly little games on it. I saw this and because not only did it have the Nintendo games that I enjoyed but a multitude of others I thought I would get it and give it a try. Not only is it fun to play on and allows you to play games from several different video game providers but also it is rechargeable and you can add games and you can carry it just about anywhere you want.
