Easily my favorite Anbernic so far
I own a bitboy and a smaller Anbernic RG35 and this larger version is by far my favorite. If you are going to use an emulator with a controller with a joystick, this is a MUST. I’m finally able to set up N64 games to have a natural feel to them, and the larger screen is so nice. It does so well with SNES and Gameboy Advance games too. I’m really impressed with the quality on the LEDs, and retroarch has really come a long way. You can basically customize anything. The battery life is great. I’m just all about this console. You really won’t be disappointed. The only downside I can think of is that you can’t shove this in your pocket because of the joysticks, but you can get a light-weight glasses case to protect things.

One device, so many emulators, controls just work
I was excited to discover that this sort of device existed. I love the old games but if I have to put more than about a minute’s effort into getting started on a game, I’m done. Especially configuring controllers…not gonna do it. Now I don’t have to, and have SO many options. Okay, I have already downloaded and loaded a few NDS games so I have spent a few minutes on setup, but this thing has me inspired. Navigation is smooth for the device overall and the 10 or so games across a few platforms I’ve played so far has been up to par with the original platform quality. I did have one NDS game that wouldn’t function. I’m sure there will be more but again, so may functional games from all the great platforms, I’m having a hard timing putting this thing down. The physical controls are good quality. The audio is clear and fits the era of the games. Can’t wait to dive into C64 and more PSP.

Great handheld for beginners
Love this thing. It was a little confusing at first, since im new to emulating. But once i got it figured out, it was a walk in the park. The battery life is a little weak, i wish it had more, but thats not a huge issue. Plays almost every ps1 game ive tried perfectly. Only about 30 to 40 percent of psp games will run on this thing. If theyre too large, it will frame skip and lag a bit. GTA started lagging almost immediately. Good news, i can play the OG star wars battlefront 2. But the spinoffs dont work – renegade and elite squadron. N64 games work really well but the button mapping is a little difficult to get used to. Its kind of hard to mimic that old n64 controller. I loved it, but man was it wierd. Gameboy games, nes, older games run great. The fighting games are a little difficult to play, again its a button mapping thing. If youre new to this, To load your own games, (while powered off) just insert a blank micro sd card into the second slot. Then power up. The anbernic will put all the folders it needs in the sd card. Then give it a minute and shut it down. Then insert your micro sd card into your computer. Copy and paste the games to their respective folders. Then put the card back in the anbernic. Pretty simple if you already have roms saved in your computer.

Awesome handheld
This handheld console can play many different games from many different consoles. It’s super comfortable to hold and lightweight to be able to play for a while at a time. The screen size is just right, super clear, and small enough to pretty comfortably fit in a pocket. The buttons work great, but the shoulder buttons are a little clicky for me.The battery life is pretty great, depending on the games you want to play. I’ve been able to play Gameboy Advance, N64, SNES, and even PSP games on it without any issues so far. Lower quality games don’t use a lot of power though, so you can get a lot of playtime just playing Gameboy games. It’s also very customizable. I installed a different operating system on it, which was pretty easy to do and installed plenty of games on it with lots of space left on the 64gb SD card that it comes with. The included charging cable is nice, but a little short. It uses USB-C so I’ve been able to use one of my longer cables with it. Overall, super great purchase and I know I’ll get a lot of use out of it!

Frustrating Experience â Returning It
I was disappointed with this Handheld Game Console. The performance was laggy, the controls felt unresponsive, and the game selection didnât meet my expectations. After just two days of use, the battery life was terrible. The screen quality was decent, but overall, it wasnât worth the price. I will return it, itâs a waste of money. Would not recommend

Great value for the price.
Iâve seen some negative reviews about this console, but personally that hasnât been the case with mine. The screen is very colorful, battery life has been great, all the game that Iâve thrown at it work flawlessly. The build quality is very good, and the screen viewing angles are also very good. I was expecting something of a low quality plastic since it was priced under $100, but itâs actually pretty solid.

Great little handheld.
Played all the ROMs I’ve thrown at it so far flawlessly, including the few PSP and N64 I’ve tried. Included ROMs have worked good for the most part. I’ve only found a few that wouldn’t play so far, and they were MAME ROMs.Build quality seems quite solid, and the battery life is decent.

Missing games
It came preloaded with plenty of games of had no Nintendo console games. No DS, GBA, GBC or any Nintendo titles. If you want a device to put your own card in with other roms and emulate it works, but itâs missing the Nintendo titles.
