Best value in large RGB mousepad!
This product genuinely surprised me. Coming from a thinner, more “adult” logitech mousepad I expected I might be more or less unimpressed by the feel or this “cheaper” mousepad. However, I purchased for the great price, rgb, size, and basically my curiosity. This is now a staple in my office/gaming space.The rgb is controlled on-board the pad via one button, which is simple and effective. Being used to adressable RGB I am used to 16.9 million colors, but the installed 20 or so preset colors/effects cover the full spectrum of rainbow barf and I am not disappointed.Feel of the top of the mousepad is better than my logitech, no joke. I am currently using a Logitech G502 Hero, and upon moving it to the new pad IMMEDIATELY noticed lower friction, and less chugging of the mouse across the pad. Very fluid, air-hockey-table-esque feel of mouse in hand. Potentially too silky for those who like a mousepad with more resistance (I dont know who possibly would). Mousepad is a little tall and you may feel the edge of it when resting your forearms on the desk. Not uncomfortable in my opinion. Rgb border is firmly secured and illuminates evenly. A great buy at less than $20.One last thing – and this is very subjective. I ordered a black mousepad, but received one with a graphic of the moon and stars. The image looks great, and honestly they’re lucky I like it. It is understated and tasteful IMO, image has good definition.All in all a firm thumbs up from someone who owns like 6 mousepads in this category.

[** Edit]I’m bumping UP my review. I was already on the fence of this being a 4 star instead of a 3 star review. After price shopping around, this really is a reasonably priced gaming pad. I am still unsure if other name-brand products like Razer and Corsair pads actually provide more vibrant light or not, as they appear to use the same technology as specified below in my original review, but for 1/3rd the cost this really is a nice RGB gaming pad. I was also taken by surprise when I was contacted by the company to discuss some of my review points and constructive criticism which were taken to heart, and had a great conversation with their representative to discuss and compare features I was concerned about. It’s rare that a company pays attention and cares.I’m adjusting my rating on the following factors, and considering this is- Adding 1 star since I think my original review at 3 stars may have been a little harsh considering the price-point was such an easy barrier to entry. I should have rounded up instead of down on the original review.- Adding 1 star for the very unexpected courtesy checkup from their support.[** Original 3-star Review]I like full length gaming pads, and I’m already tricked out with LEDs, so why not this?Know what you’re getting into.- This pad is not an LED strip that goes along the entire edges of the pad.- it is a fiber optic that is sewn onto the edge with what looks like clear fishing line.- the part of the pad that plugs into USB basically has an LED light source on either side that projects through the fiber optic, creating the effect.- The camera/screenshots (especially in the dark) gives the product a more vibrant glow than what you actually see with human eyeballs but it does still look good in low light or dark rooms.PROS:+ It does look nice at low light+ it looks fantastic in the dark+ Single color effects are decent (Whole Pad same color at any given time)+ actual mousepad is smooth and feels nice+ No software required for lighting effects (Razer, for example, their EULA/TOS basically ask you to agree to keylogging, and their software is required to adjust the lighting effects)+ Out of the box it layed out perfectly flat. (I’ve seen some other products have terrible warping in their customer reviews).CONS:- Light ‘bunches up’ at corners (where fiber optic is curved, it is brighter) and is less vibrant along the straight lengths of the pad, especially the bottom length towards the right side where it is farthest from either light source.- Because this basically only has 2 LED sources and they’re both at the top left of the pad, if you want a rainbow effect on your pad, it won’t happen. It will attempt to reproduce that effect by alternating colors on either side, and the color bleed/mixing along the cable will sort of look like a rainbow effect, but it’s not really that good. It mostly looks like the top is doing different colors from either side of the light source, and the rest of the pad is kind of “whatever color” the two other colors happen to make… so 3 colors tops at a time and there’s no direction or travel effect.- in Regular room lighting the color is kind of bled out and not super vibrant except for certain colors.- if you have a sun-lit room only the strongest of colors can be seen well.- unable to simultaneously sync colors from pad with keyboard/mouse/pc. You can change them to match but no software to integrate with other devices (i prefer to not have the software though, as stated above in the PRO section).For the cost, I’d say this is 3.5 stars, Maybe 4 when compared to other game pads, however, this is my first LED game pad, so I can’t stack rank it VS price/performance of other brands.

Comfortable and sharp looking addition to my home office and gaming area
I was getting annoyed by my small mouse pad and started looking around for something that would cover a larger portion of my desk and potentially cushion my wrists while typing. My home office/gaming area is also all jazzed up with RGB lights so I wanted something that could elevate the theme.Enter the RGB Gaming Mouse Pad from UtechSmart. It’s not a name I have seen before but I liked the price and the look of the mouse pad. Once it arrived, I was impressed by how thick it was, how it laid on my wooden desk and didn’t slip and the nice RGB lighting effects I could get out of it. It goes very well with my Razer Huntsman Elite keyboard and Logitech G560 lightsync speakers. The colors are classic green, purple, teal, blue, yellow, white, red and pink. The mouse pad can also automatically fade from one color to another with a fast and slow fade effect and an abrupt shift color mode. All this color shifting is control through a button top left of the mouse pad. The power supply is a simple micro USB into the mouse pad and a standard USB connector out.Overall, very happy with my cosmetic and comfy addition to my gaming desk.

Lovely mat, great for my heavy mouse. The RGB is a nice touch, easy to program, no software needed, I like the slow RGB breathing cycle. For under $20 it’s just great.

Llevo 1 año con ella, la luz va genial, (aunque a veces cansa) pero se desconecta y ya, lo único que molesta es que si lo conectas al PC y apagas el PC la luz sigue encendida, y tienes que desenchufar

Wer schon immer ein RGB Mauspad haben wollte, sollte hier zugreifen!Das Preisleistungverhältnis, das hier geboten wird, ist einfach unschlagbar.Nach mehr als ein Jahrzent mit Mauspads verbracht und immer eher günstigere Produkte gekauft, denke ich kann ich hier ein ungefähres Urteil lassen. Bisher hatte ich alle möglichen Mauspads von Shar*oon, LogiL*nk und ähnliche Mauspad. Letzteres war ganz solide und echt toll, aber ohne RGB.Ich hatte vorgehabt andere RGBMauspad in dieser Preiskategorie zu kaufen, aber letztendlich war ich immer zu geizig und die Bilder haben mich etwas stutzig gemacht und nicht überzeugt. Hier allerdingst nicht. Besonders für den niedrigen Preis nicht. Also habe ich zugegriffen und einfach eine Chance gegeben.Das Mauspad kam gut verpackt und ohne Makel an. Es roch neutral und auch sonst habe ich nichts daran auszusetzen.Die Rgb Modi sind sehr gut einstellbar, leuchten meiner Meinung stark genug in dieser Preisklasse und haben auch nicht wie sonst in dieser Preisklasse diese extreme Helligkeit am Anschluss oben.Apropro Anschluss. Dieser ist oben in der Ecke und somit perfekt platziert.Ich bin der Meinung, dass ein seitlicher Anschluss absolut ungünstig gewesen wäre, weil das Kabel meistens dann knicken würde.Die Maus fühlt sich etwas anders als auf meinem alten Mauspad an. Ich werde mich daran wohl gewöhnen müssen.Wer schon immer ein RGB-Mauspad haben wollte, nicht zuviel Geld ausgeben mag (50â¬+) kann hier bedenklos zugreifen. Für den Preis bekommt man einfach ein echt solides, hochwertiges Mauspad, das alle Rgb-Liebenden zufrieden stellen kann.
