I own a lot of headsets. A lot. I use this one mainly to talk to friends on Discord while streaming. With that in mind, the mic quality is quite good. The flexibility of the mic makes it easy to adjust if your friends think you sound too loud or soft. The headset is comfortably snug, hugs your ears enough to trap in the sounds you want and keep out the sounds you donât. Lightweight, headband has plenty of padding, very comfy. Paired effortlessly with my pc with the included multifunction dongle piece. Charges in a reasonable amount of time. Initial charge took about 1 1/2 hours though the manual says full charge can take up to 3 hours. Side lights are pretty shades of pinks and purple. Mute button and light on/off button work with no issues. Great budget headset.

Great for the price
Recently reverse progressed back to console from PC and wanted some wireless muffs to go with it. They sound similar to a set of Rigs that I had or the Razer Kravens. Wireless module works well with the series X/S controller. Have not tried them with my PC or phone yet, but I’m sure they would work just fine. Mic quality seems good too. Not a bass monster, but FPS/War audio is good and IG music sounds good. Spring tension is a little tight when new, but I’m sure they will ease up a little on the cup tension. I can still wear them 4 hours before I notice the pressure pains creeping in. Also being half deaf in one ear and bad tinnitus, they still sound good.

Mic works half time – finicky hardware
Newest update – seller offered refund and I accepted, yet they lied and I never received any refund…Captain 560 mic doesn’t work. Tried everything. Drivers aren’t 54mm they’re 50mm. Manual says 40hr battery life LED off. Listing said 60hr. Bass could be better. But with no mic they are useless. Can hear others but can’t communicate. Charge time in manual says 3hr too, listing said 2.5hr.The quality of everything else besides the microphone was okay. Shoulda listened to the other reviews. Don’t chance it.-update-Got the mic working half the time. Don’t know which variable changed it but I deleted the device out of phones Bluetooth history and then powered the headset off and held the power button down for like 10 seconds and it cleared the headsets Bluetooth pairing history. IDK if that helped it or reconnecting to controller or reinserting the mic several times or what. Just a new day with dif results.Game audio is decent and has fair surround sound effect but you have to play with the volume settings and stuff to get players voices to be a bit better. Their voices aren’t super clear sometimes. I also don’t know if the mic is reporting my whole sentences sometimes either. I’ve played with the settings for that too.Seller deleted my seller feedback review. They are sending a replacement so we’ll see if the experience gets any better. If the mic continues to work I’d say it’s probly tolerable but a headache that was avoidable. Maybe go with their captain 200 model since they’re probably the same specs according to the user manual or just never connect to another device. I figured out that it’s prolly not an issue with the Bluetooth pairing history, although you can’t use the mic with it on, but more a transmitter connectivity issue. YOU WILL GET FEEDBACK AND THE MIC WILL ONLY INTERMITTENTLY WORK IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE TRANSMITTER TORQUED IN ABOUT 1000ft/lbs.Yea, make sure once you get it lined up you push as hard as you can or tap it in and you will hear the static feedback disappear and your mic will begin to report.Either try their captain 200 or stay away altogether or put some money down for a better investment. These work pretty fine once you figure out the quirks but they are a proper pain as your gameplay minutes melt away trying to diagnose something that shouldn’t be a problem for $50. We’re almost 25 years into this century, tech should not be so rigidly troublesome.

I was wrong…..GREAT HEADSET
Update: Decided to scroll down and read the headset instructions. Come to find out all I had to do was go into ‘Xbox Accessories’ and select the … icon. Go to volume and, well select speakers and guess what, turn the volume up LOL BAM now I’m good to go. The headphones fit & feel fantastic. I honestly do like these headphones yet only giving 4 stars due to the volume settings. Even with the volume all the way up every sound is faint. Tried to search to see if there is a fix/firmware update but nothing. Since the price is low I’ll keep them but man if only the headset had better sound, even just a little bit of improvement would mean A LOT.

Excellent customer service and great budget headphones
I was in need of replacing my old headset and picked these based on some of the reviews and price. The headset itself seems pretty sturdy but the ear pads are NOT breathable. The side of my head starts sweating within a few minutes of having these on. There is a lot of echo with the wireless setup, even after checking and double checking that the fob is fully and completely inserted into Xbox controller. Wired, the sound is pretty decent. An acceptable amount of bass without being overbearing. The “surround sound” is about what is expected for budget headphones.Edit: I got another pair of these headphones and they are working great! There’s still an electronic buzz when wired, but it’s only noticable if all other sounds are muted, so it’s not really a factor when playing. I’ve been playing some FPS games for the past week with them and sounds are coming through clearly. Opp footseps and slides are clear and even directional queues are present. Give them a try. For the price, I don’t think one would be disappointed!

Just what I needed!
I have been looking for a wireless headset for my son, and this is exactly what we needed. After purchasing a couple other options within the last few years, we consistently have not been pleased with those purchases. This met all of our Check boxes and he is very pleased.
