It is even better than I expected. Do not hesitate, buy it.
I had a custom laptop before, also with 32GB of RAM. It was good for a long time but it was getting slow and the internal storage was only 250GB. Which goes pretty fast as a programmer.I already have a monitor, keyboard and mouse. So I figured I would just shop and see what is out there. I was really surprised to see this device at such a low price.Under $300 and got 32GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, 4 USB ports, USB C port, HDMI. I mean for that price it is worth it all.And again, as a programmer I need a fast PC that can handle a lot. It has zero issues.

I don’t run windows often (I’m a mac user), but occasionally I need to run some windows-only application. I’ve had an aging thinkpad for this purpose for a long time, that finally gave up.I didn’t need anything special, but wanted something that will last for years, and I think this is it.The performance is great for me, boots up quickly, doesn’t come with a bunch of stuff pre-installed.I love that it’s small enough that it doesn’t take up a lot of space.

Update 7 Weeks in:This mini PC has been working flawlessly. I run Linux Mint and Windows 11 in a dual-boot setup. Linux Mint boots in 7 seconds flat! Windows 11 in 10-12 seconds w/a lot of ‘stuff’ at start-up. Just to put that in perspective, my 6+-year-old HP AIO would boot Linux Mint in about 25 seconds and Windows 10 in about 1 minute.So the bottom line here is if you are looking to upgrade/update as I was previously running a decent HP AIO, you will find this an excellent option.Original post review:I’m just getting this set up, but so far, so good. It came on time, was well packaged, runs quiet and cool, and is a lot of bang for the buck. I paired this with an Acer 27-inch curved monitor and attached that to the Vivo adjustable arm. This really opened up my desk space from the HP AIO that I’ve had on my desk for the past 7+ years.By the way, if you are in the market for a completely new set-upâdesk and allâI paired the Huanno adjustable height desk with the HEIRLOUM Reclaimed Wood Table Top. It’s a great desk at a fraction of the price for many of the lower-quality put-together desks. Pair these two, and you won’t be disappointed, for sure! I also added the Kennsington Micro under-desk tray for a clean, clutter-free desk.

This is a great computer. It was plug and play. I am old, so don’t need a gaming computer. This system is perfect for what I do. It was so easy to set up. If you’re reading this, just buy it. Well worth the money.

Burned out immediately
We were on it for 15 minutes. Barely even set it up and it burned out. We had it set on top of the desk and a fan blowing nearby. It smelled like elctrical fire. Big hunk of junk. It was my son’s Christmas present. Now he has nothing to play on.

Works great to run ProxMox
So far so good. Got the cheapest version since I upgraded it to 64GB of RAM. Pretty easy to get inside the box and swap the RAM. Also added an additional NVMe drive while I was in there. So far the box runs great, it’s quiet, and at idle it pulls about 15W of power. Since most of my VMs I run under ProxMox are just sitting there, it’s not using much electricity. My old black box system (13 year old Core i7) used 75W at idle, so this is a tremendous savings in electricity.

I am pleasantly surprised about this little unit. It is fully loaded with USB and Lan ports . It quiet with only the very tiniest bit of fan noise, but it is the quietest PC I have ever owned by a long way.I had a hard job to find anyone I knew who had any experience of these little units even to the point of people not having heard of them and doubting whether they could run with the big boys- well the simple it can and it does. Since I have had it has not put a foot wrong- wonderful little unit.If you are wondering if this right for you then just go for it- you won’t regret it
