worth the money
really good monitor donât make a mistake when you build your PC and you go cheap on your monitor!! Thatâs what I did and I bottlenecked my set up and now with this new monitor itâs like I got a new graphics card.if you have a 3060ti YOU NEED THIS MONITOR

Samsung Support is Terrible
On a product of this cost, I would expect at least somewhat competent support but sadly there is little on offer. In particular, for my model number, the support team can not (so far) tell me how to check whether the firmware on the display matches what is available. Nor can I download a valid firmware image for this model number as it is not presently provided on website.As to the monitor, there is a lot that is good but some less so. The joystick to control the monitor is not particularly easy to use as compared to other models/brands (I far prefer that of the Asus Rog monitors). The joystick should not IMO be at the bottom of the monitor near the edge. Not so easy to get to. I also notice that in the on-screen menu that there are several grayed out controls (that’s annoying — I prefer to not to be told what I didn’t get).I like the general look of the monitor image for gaming and enjoy gaming with it. The adaptive sync seems to work well with Nvidia G-Sync, there is no tearing with my 3080TI. This is true even with an embarrassingly old CPU — high lighting that the graphics card and the display matter the most. All of my games (mostly FPS) are more enjoyable with this monitor.For productivity I find it to be not as good (though tolerable); the curved screen is not helpful for looking at graphs, charts, tables etc. I haven’t watched any movies with it yet but I think this monitor is best for gaming mostly monitor not so much for Cinema.The “Infinity Core Lighting” is quite pointless and distracting. Fortunately it can be disabled. Physically the monitor stand wobbles quite a lot and there is poor provision for cable routing provided the stand.I am debating whether I will keep this. It will depend on getting better support and soon (no matter that it is reasonably good for gaming).

Great at a Discount, QA is a Gamble
At MSRP, this thing is absurd: get an OLED. But if you can get it at around $500-700 it’s a lot better of a proposition (Samsung regularly runs $200 student discounts too).This display has a few fatal flaws… the EOTF curve is awful: darks are way too dark and brights are way too bright, the matte coating causes bright images to have a hazy/grainy feel and washes out the saturation of colors (the G8 model is significantly worse), solid colors can show scanlines that Samsung monitor’s have been plagued with for years. But if you’re okay with that, this display is gorgeous. It’s super bright, has a wide range of colors, it can almost compete with OLED for global contrast, and at the max refresh rate, motion clarity (except in dark scenes) is fantastic.But I ultimately had to return this monitor because of Samsung QA. The IO and power cable ports were wiggly and required things to be just right. I won’t drop the rating too much over that though, lemons happen.

Low quality control on this product
I bought this monitor new from Best Buy and it wouldn’t even power on out of the box, Returned and bought another one from amazon and this one has a dead pixel. Maybe 3rd time will be the charm?

Did not work right outside the box
After switching on the monitor, the screen just went blank. The menu options could not be accessed since the buttons were unresponsive. Will have to return unfortunately.

Hasta el momento no he tenido ningún problema. La calidad de la pantalla es muy buena y la curva te da bastante inmersión sin quitar mucha vista desde los lados. La función como hub usb es genial si tienes más de 1 computadora y combinándolo con un usb switch puedes conectar tus dispositivos con solo un click. El tamaño es bastante adecuado para trabajar y para jugar. Solo buenas palabras hasta ahora.
