Hands down the best wired earphones
The Samsung Galaxy 7+ use to include these earphones when you purchased their phone, I believe this shows you that the quality of the product is or at least was a good quality product. The earphones has fabric-sheathed wiring to protect wiring. These earphones should last for a while (ex. Years, Months, etc. depends on how well maintained). If these earphones do break they are very inexpensive to replace.

Bought 2, mic didn’t work
I bought 2 of these because I wanted to have spares in locations where I take calls these days.Both units had faulty mics. The ear pieces are fine. Mics were completely useless. If I screamed into the mic, I was barely audible.I tried on 4 different devices (2 phones, a laptop and an external audio recording device.I still have my original from my phone purchase. That original headset works on all 4 devices. These two new devices did not have functional mics. One I can understand as a manufacturing fluke. But two?Returning

The second pair I own
I had a pair of these for a few years and they broke. They were the most comfortable headphones I had, I can wear them for hours and be fine. I got these to replace my old ones and they are the same, no pain wearing them even after hours. I have fallen asleep wearing them and they don’t hurt if I lay on my side. Sound is good and they fit snug in my ear so they don’t move around.

Wrong shape to fit securely in ear, poor sound
The design of these earbuds is such that no matter which ear tip I try, they will not fit properly in my ears. This results in very poor bass response, as well as allowing the earbuds to fall out of the ears easily. I suspect many people have this issue –earbuds have to fit well into the ear canal in order for the earbud’s internal transducer (loudspeaker) to couple with the eardrum to deliver decent low-frequency response. So, the transducer is probably decent quality, but the design of the case itself does not allow the bud to fit far enough into the ear canal, at least for me, anyway.

First of all, it is not a perfect gift for audiophiles, because for AKG there is only design, but the expected sound is like a cheap Chinese product. There is no rich bass, no clear sound, and the volume of the sound is not enough to be outdoors, only for a quiet room. I am disappointed with this product. As others have said, if you’re buying these thinking that they are the same as the old AKG earbuds that came with the Samsung phones, you’ll be disappointed. Sadly I didn’t see those reviews until now!These are perfectly fine earbuds for things like conference calls or verbal videos (which is what I primarily use these for), but they are awful and tinny for anything music-related. There is practically zero bass.You do get what you pay for, so for under £10 you can’t really expect much else – but since these ‘look’ the same as the originals, I imagine that a lot of folks looking to buy a replacement set will be let down.
