Good value, great picture, inadequate audio…
This unit has an excellent picture. And, if you are getting it as a computer monitor, you will be quite satisfied. But, if you are getting it to be used as a television, you will not be happy with the audio and you will want a sound bar, bluetooth speaker, or amplifier and external speakers. I connected a Fugoo speaker using bluetooth and got satisfactory sound quality for use in my kitchen. But, without the Fugoo speaker, the audio is too quiet to be heard over the vent fan over the stove or typical cooking sounds.The poor audio forces you to add other components that detract from an otherwise compact, clean installation.One of the features that drew me to this unit was the USB Type C port that can be used to power other devices. I am using this monitor with a mini-PC that can be powered with USB Type C. And, I initially set up the monitor with the mini-PC using a short USB C to USB C cable to the mini-PC attached to the back of the monitor using velcro. This made a clean installation and worked, at first. But, despite the top power draw of only 12 watts from the monitor to power the mini-PC, it occasionally cannot handle the power draw and the PC shuts off – not good. To solve this problem, I had to ditch the USB-C power connection between the monitor and the PC and use the power supply for the mini-PC and the power supply for the monitor to power each device separately – which uses two outlets, instead of just one.So, to sum up, I was unable to achieve my goal of having a very simple, clean installation in my kitchen that uses only one power outlet and needed no other devices. I had to add the Fugoo speaker and I had to use both power supplies for the monitor and the mini-PC, as well as use a USB A to Micro USB cable to keep the Fugoo speaker powered up.Of course, my application influences my opinion. And, your application is likely to be different with different considerations. Considering only the monitor, it has a great picture, clear but inadequate sound, light weight, low power draw, it is easy to use, has good features, and it is a good value for its price.

Great gadget – good price, etc. One small suggestion – use the HDMI cable that comes with it.
I just bought this and it is a great value and high quality. I had a minor glitch with it and I just wanted to put that somewhere so if someone else runs into it they can easily fix it.I think the physical design of this is pretty amazing. The parts snap together like magic.The electronics, quality of display, etc., are perfect.BUT I was sometimes getting a black screen for a few seconds. I thought it was dying slowly or something.The problem I had was that I used an existing HDMI cable that was already plugged into my PC. It is probably 10 years old – and have NO idea what standard it was manufactured for. It is MUCH thinner than the one that came with the monitor. I figured it would make NO difference. And I did not have to mess around back here with all the wires and stuff. WRONG.USE the HDMI cable that comes with the monitor.HDMI is not just electrical, like voltage signaling. It is modulated signal with a great deal of information in it. The PC and the monitor exchange information over that thing. AND in my case, it sometimes got confused – and the monitor went totally BLACK for a few seconds. That or it would report No Signal on the HDMI cable.I replaced my skinny little, old cable – and it works perfectly – never a black screen, etc.Just in case someone else runs into this – you could search on “black screen” and get the fix. There is nothing on the vendor webaite about the type or version of HDMI cable required.

Exceptional features and great price point⦠need standoff screws for vesa mount
I’ve been looking at purchasing a 34″ curved monitor for a few months now and have been comparing different brands across the market and looking for a good price point. This monitor ticked all the boxes – it had better resolution, refresh rate, response time, color range compared to many other curved screens. It is a beautiful screen with vibrant colors and I have been able to read small without eye strain. I find myself sitting back in my seat instead of leaning forwards since everything is much clearer than the 24″ 1920x1080p monitor I replaced.It came well packaged and it was easy to set up.The monitor stand is easy to install into the back of the display – it clicks into place and there is no need to fiddle with screws or nuts and bolts.If you prefer to vesa mount – please be aware that the monitor has screw points for a vesa mount, but they are in a small circular recess that is intended for the monitor stand. You will need standoff screws or spacers in order to raise the screw points for a vesa plate.I am currently using the monitor with the stand, but will update when I swap to a vesa mount.Update: I have swapped to vesa mount and attached photos of my setup. The standoffs I used were 8mm-tall M4-sized screws.

Monitor works great but the securing mechanism for the stand to the monitor is a little cheap and broke easily on both monitors we bought. The stand still works fine but if youâre concerned about them staying clicked together it wonât be happening. Minor fault but should be corrected as it left me with a bad first impression.

This monitor looks good. It has speakers. The speaker wattage is clearly mentioned in the ad and as you can imagine, the loudness and fidelity isn’t amazing. I am happy with this monitor however, my main complaint isn’t with this brand or model, but more holistic. When running a large 27″ monitor that is only 1080p, the text will suffer when sitting close to it as a computer monitor. I’d assume if using as a TV and sitting farther away, it wouldn’t be as noticeable. For the price, it is great but my next monitor at this size will be 4k. I give full stars because monitor is exactly as described, and it is my fault for not buying a 4k monitor at twice the price.
