Great workstation monitor!
These are my go-to bang-for-buck workstation monitors. I see them advertised as “gaming monitors,” which strikes me as odd, given that most gamers I know really want at least 120Hz refresh rates for their shooty-shooty-bang-bang partytimes. This? This is a drop-dead-sexy work monitor at a really accessible price, and I’m not sure why you’d choose it for gaming. 99% sRGB gamut, UHD resolution, built-in basic sound that’s not awful…this is a workstation monitor, folks.And it’s a great workstation monitor. I own two. I love them. Bright, clear, colors accurate enough for my light Photoshop work, resolution high enough that fonts just look awesome, smooth and natural…this is a great work monitor. Surprisingly sturdy base — it looks flimsy but it really isn’t — and a beautiful edge-to-edge light and color balance.You want gaming? Look at Sceptre’s other models, with faster refresh rates and lower latency. You want a great 27″ work monitor for under $200? You’ve come to the right place. If your Excel spreadsheets need more than 60fps, your life is much more exciting than mine.

High performing monitor at amazing price
I can’t say enough good things about this monitor. Display looks amazing, and makes my macbook pro and video game system look great. No dead pixels at all.Speakers are weak, but that’s to be expected. They work, but I planned on using external speakers. Headphone jack is provided for external speakers or headphones.Stand is surprisingly solid. Back of monitor lights up and cycles through colors (and you customize this or turn it off).Find out the best resolution options for your devices and buy the proper cables. For me, this is a large and high quality monitor for a great price.

I should first say this is the biggest and highest resolution monitor I’ve ever had, so I can’t compare it to much. However it works and matches the resolution on my graphics tablet (Gaomon) for a seamless transition between the two with the extended monitor setup. It’s better for my older eyes because it’s large. I got the 32 inch one. Sounds is a bit canned, but I didn’t purchase it primarily for that. I just wanted sound available to share videos with my family occasionally. This is fine for me.

Great screen, but Speakers are horrible
This monitor does the trick for my needs. I’m a 3D Game developer and I just needed a replacement for my previous monitor. This one is affordable and bright. Great for gaming, 3D Animation, and desktop computing. Great resolution, and assembly is a simple 4-screws and a snap.The built-in speakers however, are virtually worthless. At max volume, it’s barely a whisper. The sound has zero tone, no bass, and is the equivalent of listening to a landline phone with the receiver laying on a table 5 feet from you. Not good. Max volume is around 30-40 decibels. Around the level of your refrigerator working to chill your food.

I bought this as a Birthday Gift for my Dad … he had a smaller, 1080p monitor and wanted to both go to a dual-monitor setup AND upgrade resolution- and he’s VERY HARD TO PLEASE.He loves it! Tells me all the time! Now he has the household security system cameras displayed on his old monitor, and his normal computer-usage on his new monitor, and it’s GREAT. The resolution is amazing, just amazing. Sharp, Crisp, Bright, Clear, AMAZING.And there is NO FINER DEAL for a monitor on Amazon. Yes, there are bigger & better monitors, and certainly *really* BIGGER & BETTER … but nothing even close to this for the price. This is a steal!

Great to start, lasted 4 months
i bought this monitor in July and it is already broken. The monitor worked fine for the first month or so, and quality wise exceeded expectations for the price, then I finally got it all hooked up to support two displays at 4k capacity. Everything went down hill from there. After that, it would occasionally flicker the display, but would recover and be fine for a while. Into the second and third month it would flicker and not recover until I restarted the monitor or my Macbook. It has now gone fully dark, although it still responds as a display and shows that it is receiving power. I cannot access the menu or settings on the monitor itself, which did help in a fix early on in regards to adjusting the display settings and refresh rate. I have tried multiple hdmi cables, bought an hdmi to displayport, and tried it with a whole different computer and nothing. I have tried all the regular tricks of restarting/updates and scoured the internet for solutions with no avail. I am reaching out to Sceptre customer support and tech support and will update this review if they provide any helpful tips or services, but for now I am out nearly $200 and stuck with a large hunk of trash. I would recommend you just spend a bit extra on a brand that is more reliable because this was not worth the discount value, as I should have expected.

Tiene una resolución altÃsima perfecta para mi MacBook Pro. Está substituyendo a un Thunderbolt display de 27″.Hay dos situaciones aquÃ:Es tecnologÃa nueva, asà que la resolución es altÃsima y todo se ve bastante bien. Me gusta que tiene tanto HDMI como Display Port. Uso este último y es mejor que HDMI.Pero “no es apple” -ja!- asà que aunque el Thunderbolt Display es tecnologÃa de hace 10 años, no deja de verse mejor que éste, que es totalmente nuevo. Igual no lo uso para algo profesional en cuanto a video, son cosas de oficina y un estudio de producción musical, asà que no hay tanta diferencia.Una cosa: la bocinita incluida es una broma. Suena horrible. Pero pues simplemente no la uses y ya o compra unas bocinitas multimedia económicas por ahi y conéctalas a su salida de audio.

Si vienes de un monitor 1080p o el monitor de tu laptop la verdad será una opción maravillosa. Naturalmente no tengo el ojo crÃtico que ciertos profesionales que hacen de los monitores elemento escencial de su trabajo, pero para quienes solo lo queremos para consumir multimedia, navegar en internet o concectar un rato la switch, la verdad es una opcion excelente por su precio. Excelente panel IPS 4K 70hz. Buena representación de colores, ideal para edición de video. Para juegos… es un panel decente. Con la PS5 la calidad de imagen es muy buena, pero con Xbox Series S por alguna razón no explota las capacidades de la consola, aún asà se juega muy bien. Materiales de construcción de calidad y las luces led en la parte trasera del panel son un plus muy atractivo.
