some of the best earbuds i have owned
these earphones are amazing. they keep charged for a very long time with the case, they sound good, they connect to my watch to give me heart rate data during my workout and they are durable. I accidentally washed one of the earphone and its still working at 100 percent volume. what more could you want.

Pros and cons
After 4 years with another product, I decided to switch it up. Iâm pleased I did. Hereâs my take.Iâm a carpenter and use ear buds to listen and ANC to protect my hearing.Pros:If you take the time to try out the ear wings and fittings, you can approximate a very good fit.Tapping your face, area next to the ear buds, is a welcome feature.Clarity of sound is nice.Case and earbuds fee durable.Voice cues are nice. Can listen with one earbud in.Comfortable to me after 3.5 hours of use.ConsLeft earbud cuts out and turns off at random.Anti wind turns on at random and doesnât seem different from ANC.A loud pop in left and right earbud happens at random.Anti wind? Not accurate.Battery life is poor when using ANC. You might get 3 hours if youâre lucky.I downloaded the latest hardware update. Maybe this is the cause of the ghosts in the earbud. These fit differently than most products of similar use protocols. Take the time to go through best fit instructions. So far, I will take the good with the bad. Iâm going to reach out to the manufacturer for guidance on the left ear issues. I like them much more than any of the Beats products Iâve used.

Great (expensive) Sport Earbuds with some quirks but worth it for the right reasons
Let me start out by saying that while other reviews say the ANC isnât that good I really disagree. Iâm not sure if they know this but these are semi-open by design and even still the ANC is really good. The reason they are semi-open is beacuse of safety and also beacuse it stops the dreaded foot drop effect when running. You know when you run and you hear each and every step as a thud in your ears? Well these have very little of that. If youâre a runner you know what I speak of.The default sound profile is good but if you donât like it you can tune the buds to your liking in the sennheiser app. The app isnât the best but itâs much better than allot of the competition out there.I use these with an Apple device so I donât get to take advantage of the aptX codec but even with AAC it does sound really good. The anti-wind mode is really awesome for outdoor runs. It does a fantastic job at cancelling out wind noise. I honestly donât even hear it when in this mode. Iâd say transparency mode is about 80% of what Apple AirPods Pro 2 are. Itâs very solid. My two biggest knocks on them are that the fins arenât very comfortable and I think the heart rate and temp sensors are gimicky (I am not in the Polar ecosystem). After about an hour or use. There is some dull feeling in my ears and I use the smallest fins. Unlike the Beats sport buds which are one solid piece of rubber fin they put a slit in the fin which I think is for flexibility. What ends up happening is that they dig into your ears a bit. I hope they or someone makes after market fins that are a little more comfortable.Secondly, I have an Apple Watch Ultra and get my heart rate from it as connect it to my watch for music on my runs. Iâm not sure if these will ever integrate into Apple health but the polar app really isnât all that useful for someone not using a polar device. I use these mostly for running and I donât see the value in the polar integration since Iâm not in that ecosystem. If sennheiser were to fix the fins and make them a solid piece of rubber and possibly removed the heart rate and temp sensors and sold the buds for ~$60 less these would be the the most recommended sport buds. However with the beats sport buds a bit less you really have to see the value in the sound quality to get these. All in all as an audio enthusiast and outdoor fitness person I will highly recommend these. I think the sound quality and ability to customize the EQ is a great feature. The ANC, transparency, and anti-wind modes all deliver, and while I donât find the find comfortable they buds always feel secure in my ears and I never worry about them falling out.

Earbud sound deteriorated over time
Initially this product was decent at best. Sound quality was good, but they were never loud enough. The fit is uncomfortable. Over time one headphone started to go out. I could barely hear it. Switch to my AirPod pros, yep, definitely not me. Continue using them alternating with my AirPods and today now both headphones are almost completely inaudible. If you are on an airplane you canât even hear them. Ridiculous for such a pricey product.

Earbuds
I like the sound. It is close to the Bose quality. I really like that it measures the heart rate and body temperature. The fit is such I can wear them to bed.
