Great sounding work horse. Super light, comfortable. Works fine on phone without amp.
These, sound wise, are on par with the Momentum 2s or the HD599s or the AKG K451s. If you’re familiar with those and like the sound signature, you’ll get more of the same with the HD25s. I found the clamping a bit much out of the box but gently stretching the headband reduces the clamping. I like the adjustable split headband. I like that nearly every part is replaceable. I’m not wild about the stock ear pads and plan to replace those soon with something plusher. That said, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this model again and certainly recommend it to anyone who enjoys great portable sound. I’ve played it through my headphone amp, my receiver, my television, and my telephone. It performs well on all. This model really excels with flacs, compact discs, or hi rez streaming. The sound is energetic yet balanced and easily heard in loud environments like public transport or airplanes. The soundstage is virtually non-existent but I barely noticed because the sound is so wonderfully tuned. The HD 25 handles all genres well. I’ve been able to wear these headphones for a few hours at a time. YMMV.

I’ve had Sennheiser phones over the past several decades, since my first DJ gig, and have always been satisfied of the value for the price. This model is no different. Light, GREAT sound on all levels, and at a price I thought was reasonable when compared to other headphones. Not doing the DJ any more, just listening to music and appreciating the rich bass, excellent middle and highs. Great product.

currently I own HD25 2 sets, HD668b, Ath pro7x, DT1350, Koss PP, Ksc75, Oneodio studio, Status audio, JVC harx700, srh440, HD558, Koss Dj200 pro, JVC HA-S500, JVC HA-S400, HTF600, AKG240, but HD25 beats them all in sound quality department.Compare to M40x and m50 the bass is very tight, imaging is excellent for the cost of sound stage but treble and clarity is just excellent with good PRAT factor. It is not a very V shaped headphones, and a little bit mid bass hump makes is very fun to listen too. on the ear design makes the seal very tight to achieve good sound.construction is great. I bought 2 pairs last year and both look brand new till now. Its very hard to find another on-ear headphones to upgrade from this headphones, HD25 is just too perfect, but Oneodio studio over the ear offers almost same sound with the expense of maybe 15% sound clarity and it is just below $25.both HD25 and Oneodio pair very well with my Sansa Fuze plus and clip jam very well. They dont need extra power to drive them.for people with lower budget the Oneodio studio less than $25 is a better option.

I was super in-between buying these or the ATH-M50X as a pair of headphones for some entry-level mixing. I’m really happy that I decided to buy these ones as they work perfect for what I’m looking for. They’re super lightweight and they don’t really squeeze your head very much – so lots of points for comfort! I also really enjoy the sound quality of these headphones. As someone who doesn’t have a lot of experience with over-ear headphones, I think this was a great purchase as my “first pair.” They have great mids/lows and in my opinion the perfect amount of bass. This makes for really good listening for any edm tracks which is what I primarily mix. Although these headphones aren’t specifically noise cancellation, they do also isolate sound very well.I’m taking one star off for these headphones because I’m a little unimpressed by their quality. If I hadn’t done any kind of research and looked at these in a store, I would have not been impressed. They feel a little cheap in my opinion for being $150 and the padding around the ears/top of the head is very plasticy. Despite this, I would still buy these headphones because I’m really impressed with their sound quality, comfort, and their sound isolation.

Son unos audÃfonos extraordinarios. Muy robustos, ligeros y que proporcionan gran aislamiento contra el ruido externo. Su ligereza te permite utilizarlos por largas jornadas. Responden en todo el espectro de audio y funcionan muy bien como referencia. Definitivamente profesionales.Tienen un poco de énfasis en los subgraves, lo que ayuda a la hora de mezclar audio.Son los segundos que compro, los primeros los tengo desde hace mas de 25 años y me he servido de ellos como complemento al mezclar y masterizar.

I very rarely write reviews but here we have finally an incredible product. Comfort is out fo this world because contrary to the hd25 non light, it’s not too clampy, it’s the most comfortable headphone of my huge collection. Sound can be a but artificial in the treble but otherwise GREAT. The bass is addictive and does not ruin the mids. Very dynamic, punchy lively and a pleasure to wear for it’s feather weight.
