Fit my GIANT Head – and sound Great
I have a truly massive head. One of my biggest problems with OTE headphones is that they pinch my head and give me headaches. I can’t wear a one size fits all hat – but I can wear these headphones. The R and L indicaitons inside are really useful. The buttons are in the right places and feel natural. The audio quality is great and they soudn awesome connected to both my Galaxy S24 Ultra and my LG Gram. The Bluetooth is great and I can walk a significant distance without issues. The battery life is superb and as a bonus they charge really fast on a 45 watt charger – 5 minutes will get you another 2 hours of listening time. They fold up really well. Getting them in the included case, which is also high quality, took some getting used too. Another note on the case – it has plenty of room for the charger and wired cable. They are not too heavy and comfortable for all day wear.I got them at an amazing price – but even at MSRP they would be an excellent buy. They may be from Shures “budget” line but they don’t feel that way at all.The audiophile reviews on headphone websites are pretty correct. These are well priced and have good highs and lows, good battery life, and are comfortable.I love them a lot more than my far more expensive JBL Studio heaphones – which have now be relegated to a secondary pair.

Iâm hearing vibes I didnât know were on the tracks!
I record, mix, edit video and these cans are clean with great bass response and good details in the low, mid and high ranges. Shure has definitely created a great set of cans. One problem I had was trying to use the cable connection. The cable it ships with appears to be very delicate. I did use it once but one strong pull and it is not working properly. Oh well the Bluetooth is great with the ability to connect to two different sources. I bought a pair for my wife and she loves them so I bought my own pair – best money Iâve spent on my sound gear.

Crazy Good Sound Quality, Noisy Noise Canceling
I compared these to Bose QC45 and Sennheiser Momentum 4.PRO: Phenomenal sound quality, like I couldn’t believe it. Bass was clear and delicate but plenty strong. Mids and highs were also clear. I did not feel like any range was overemphasized and this pleased me because I don’t like a thumping bass. Software was sophisticated. I did not make any calls because I quit them; see CON.CON: Noisy noise canceling. The quality of the delivered sound is so good that the NC really stands out. In “Environment Mode,” background noises like a running refrigerator are much emphasized, to my disappointment. Also heavy and kind of clunky and I found the functionality kind of difficult.I did not make any phone calls on these. For comparison purposes:BOSE QC45: the lightest of the three an most comfortable to wear, but in every respect not impressive. NC might have been better, but quality of delivered sound was not.MOMENTUM 4: What I liked about the Aonic 40’s sound, I found less of in the Sennheisers, particularly in the higher end. I also found these to be the least comfortable to wear of the three, with hard foam over the cranium and squeezing my (large) head. Functionality was odd, with touching and sliding fingertips on the side of the can.

These headphones are amazing for the price, especially for large head size
I have used almost all the high end headphones and monitor / reference phones. The sound quality is the same as 500.00 plus headphones. The spatial scope is very broad and sensitive. The app is one of the best for smart phone use. For an ANC, travel or even light studio work these have you covered. Great build quality. Closest to this is Sennheiser but these fit and have a bit better sound for me 🙂 Very happy with Shure (as always)

Not bad, but not great
– The build quality is just okay. Material is hard plastic – it doesn’t feel cheap, but is definitely nothing particularly special. It is probably fine for headphones of this cost, however. The hard plastic does/can take dents and dings easily. [5-6/10]- Earcups feel good and are reasonably comfortable. However, since they visibly have the same attachment method of the AONIC 50s, I presume they may fall victim to the same problems as the AONIC 50s (earcup fabric detaching from the plastic of the earphones over time) [7/10]- The part which rests on the top of your head is terrible and needs to be re-engineered. Although the head rest portion is foam/neoprene and plush to the touch and the headphones overall do not feel overly weight-y when worn, for some reason literally dig into your skull. Wearing these for more than 30 minutes at a time left a VERY noticeable indentation on the top of my head – an indentation you can feel. [1/10]- The provided AUX cable is thinner and of lower quality that I would have expected [3/10].- Wireless audio sounds decent. [6-7/10]—- If sound quality is of the utmost importance to you, invest in the AONIC 50s.- If money is of no issue, invest in the AONIC 50s- If you care about build quality, higher quality fabrics are used in the AONIC 50s, but both (definitely the AONIC 50s) will fall victim to fabric tearing. The AONIC 40s are not terrible, but the AONIC 50s are better in almost every way for an extra 50 bucks (fabric tearing is a definite problem however).

Absolutely master piece from shure. Unbelievable high quality product at this price. Sound quality is 95/100, built quality 90/100, noise canceling 85/100. I prefer this one if you consider sony mx4 or boss qc45.

I’m a heavy user. Long term use become heavy and uncomfortable; also pressures on top of skull. Sound is amazing so it’s a shame.

Comfortable to wear. connecting is good. Battery life seems not like it claims.Wired option is a plus for those who have wired HiRes mp3 players. Sound quaility is subjective to every individual as we are all different.
