After completing the evolutionary RAVEN RV05 with 5.25″ drive bay design completely removed, the RAVEN team created another forward thinking line of cases with the introduction of the “RAVEN X” subcategory. This line will not only retain the essence of what made the original RAVEN series great with features such as signature aggressive styling and 90 degree rotated layout, but also cater to enthusiasts looking for more exciting designs in an entry-level price point. With the smallest ever footprint for a ATX RAVEN tower case, the RVX01 has remarkably accommodating interior that can easily fit large ATX motherboards up to 12″ x 11″, full size graphics card, four 2.5″/3.5″ drives, and spaces for up to three radiators. From the factory, the case will come fully equipped with three of SilverStone’s famed Air Penetrator fans for class-leading thermal performance and easy to reach filter for easy maintenance. If you are looking to build an attractive, relatively compact and powerful PC on a budget, the RVX01’s combination of high affordability, top-level cooling ability, and flexible layout will fulfill the task beautifully.

Great Case for any Gamer!(PC specs in Review)
This case is greate! I had enough room for 3 3.5″ hard rivers or SSD’s and 2 2.5″ Hardrives or SSD’s. I comes with 3 fans at the bottom which will leave you with a nicely cooled PC and you probably won’t have to buy another fan again! The only problem is that, on most motherboards at least, the fan wires are to short to reach the fan header on the motherboard. I had to remove the fans, this was easy, and then take off the plastic holding the fan cable down. The was easy as all you need is a little force and the plastic should pop right off! But the hard part is putting the fans back in. It took us an additional hour just to put the fans back in. And you may have to tear off a part from the HDMI cable that you’re using because the Metal holding the GPU down blocks the port and it is welded to the case. And the last thing is that there is absolutely no room for cable management! But this should not be a problem if you get the job windowed version of this case or route the wires to where they won’t hit anything. Other than that the case is amazing! The top make it look professional and intimidating! Excellent cooling, and I love the 90 degree turn on the mother board! Here are the pros and cons of the case:Pros:â¢Very Nice and will go perfect on almost any gamer’s desk.â¢Matches with red and black set ups.â¢Many USB ports(may depend on motherboard, mine came with 7)â¢Accessible and easy to set upâ¢Will last a long time due to metal and sting build and structure qualityâ¢Come with dust filter! (Extremely Helpful!)Cons:â¢Poor cable managementâ¢Really big so may not fit on all desksâ¢Slight modding needed to make everything work in the caseâ¢When you want to plug something in you have to remove the top panel, I just keep the screws off so that it can slide right off.Overall a great case for any gamer! I knocked off one star because of the minor drawbacks, but they can be easily overcome. I hope this review helped you a lot! Happy Shopping!PC Specs and setup:â¢Raven Silverstone RVX01 Case with windowâ¢XFX RX 480 8 gigabyteâ¢AMD 880K overclocked to 4.5 Ghzâ¢8 Gigabytes of ram⢠1 WD Terabyte hardriveâ¢500 watt power supply by EVGAâ¢AOC I2481FXH 24″ LED monitor 5ms Ultra Slim Narrow Border Metallic Finish IPS Flicker Free Monitorâ¢Red Dragon Elite Keyboardâ¢Red Dragon Elite Mouseâ¢Red Dragon Elite mouse padâ¢Logitech G230 Gaming Stereo Headset with MicTotal: around $922.64Not bad set up with a great monitor, headphones, and mouse and keyboard. Small compact, but needs cable extensions for all the fans
Cheap plastic parts, difficult to line up screws when re assembling unit

Has Some Major Drawbacks
This is a terrible case design. No front panel DVD opening. The top mounted cable connections are hard to access for some cables. It does have good airflow so it isn’t a total loss.

RVX01 – Let down by Silverstone on this one.
As I removed the packaging and pulled the side panel I knew it was wrong and I knew I made a mistake blindly trusting the Silverstone brand name and not researching more. Background: I have owned a few Silverstone cases (FT02, SG05) and other products that I have been more than pleased with. I would say “Impressed” would be more accurate. However for this occasion I would use “Disenchanted” to describe my current outlook on this product. This chassis fails on just about every point.Problems:- CABLE MANAGEMENT: None- zero. There is no space between the back panel and the motherboard plate. Silverstone has also made sure that you couldn’t pull some Jr Engineering to wedge cables here and there to make it look respectable. The 3.5 HDD bay obstructs the PSU cabling and offers no way of routing/managing them in any way.- CHASSIS DESIGN: The lower half of the case is simply empty space, wasted empty space. The open area from where the side panel window ends to the base of the chassis is a terrible illustration of fruitless and thoughtless design on Silverstone’s part. No options for more drive bays, no mounting options for custom loop reservoirs- empty space. Instead opting to put a just as useless “Wall” across the length of the case to cover the mess of cabling you- due to the lack of any cable management options- have no choice but let hang loose within the open wasted space.- WINDOW PLACEMENT: Awful cropping/presentation of interior components. I didn’t want it but the blue version of this case only comes with the side panel window.- SIDE PANEL/TOP PANEL: To take the side panel off you first take two thumb screws out of the back of the top cover/mesh shroud and slide it off. Beneath that you find that the side panel has more screws to take off. Couldn’t clips have been used here? for both situations? My FT02 had the motherboard and IO orientation and the IO cover just clipped in and out. Front panel cover is also not easy to remove (not that you would need to often, still)- HDDs: The limit of 2x 3.5 is caused by the poor HDD bay design/orientation.There was definite opportunity for Hot-swappable bays here that would have put the HDD bay to the front of the case to maybe make space for a reservoir or just a cable corral.- SSD’s are hidden by the side panel window not extending the height of the panel. I like to look at and show off the gear.- Front panel connector cables are brought into the case by way of a hole in the front of the case that showers them down past the side panel window. Making them everything but hidden from view. It’s like they chose the one guy in the office that loves the way messy cables look and gave him his moment to shine.- PSU could have been relocated anywhere in the case to make it and the cables more hidden. There is no reason the power switch on the PSU needs to be accessible considering its under a top cover/shroud that requires you to first remove two screws.- FRONT PANEL USB: The orientation of them pointing up is not ideal- could have had some more options here.
