I wanted to love it, and I do.
I had a different brand for a little while on 2 of my phones. I think it was a phone fin. Anyways, it looked nice, functioned ok, but within a few weeks started coming apart and then eventually tearing on both phones. I dont like to throw other products under the bus but this was my honest experience. I needed a couple of replacements because now I cannot hold my phone up without some sort of mechanical superpower to assist me. Even though it was only for a short time, my hand became spoiled and I needed to find something better. So I figured I’d try this one. I can say just the packaging alone let me know I was in for a better quality product. Not alot of expensive plastic that would last forever, but a nice little well designed slide out box. Mad props to the marketing person on that! So the actual product, it’s built extremely well. Thick high quality material. Nothing flimsy, no worry of something tearing when you slide it open. Has very nice stitching on it. It’s got a wide band that is very comfortable. And the sticky stuff, what even is it???? It is sticky. Very sticky. It sticks like sticking should stick. The other brand I had, let’s just say politely, fell off rather quickly, and dropped my fold 4. Luckily it didn’t break, but this was upsetting. So I had to reinforce with superglue around the edges. Totally true. I did it to both phones just as a safety. The smartish holder has fibers in the adhesive from what I can tell, maybe some sort of industrial strength tape. I don’t know. I don’t science. They obviously do. And they figured it out and I now have a very nice looking finger holder thing without superglue and I kind of actually love it. It doesn’t slide open easily like the other one did, but it doesn’t fall off or seem like it will tear either so I’m ok with that. Definitely a high quality product and I will definitely be buying another for my other phone. If every company built their products like this, we wouldn’t need to read reviews! Great job on this!

Just what I needed-but doesn’t last long
Update: it lasted a little over a month which I guess for the price is fine. The adhesive work off pretty quickly so it was only a matter of time. I’ll probably get another because I liked the feel of them and I have the matching case but I’m a bit disappointed it only lasted about a month.So far I am loving this. I got the case that goes with it too. I am big on having a wallet case but at the same time not having it be too bulky or complicated. it doesn’t have a flap that I have to open or anything like that. This means it will last a lot longer, because I am rough on my cases. The fact that this pops out or goes back completely flat is a game changer. I don’t need it out all the time. Its not bulky like a pop socket was, and Its not cheap either. It sticks really well and isn’t just cheap plastic. I love that the case and the ‘prop tart’ have coordinating colors too. The price point is really good too!!

Cute, sturdy, and fit on the door of my case!
Very well made with a cute design. The little loop kinda has a locking thing that makes it a sturdy stand. The adhesive and installation is great. I cleaned my phone with alcohol first and let it dry. Perfect size for my phone case that has a card door. Other phone grips were too long.

Perfect for holding your phone!
Nice product, but it’s their customer service that attracts me to them. I buy Smartish cases, screen covers, and these prop tarts for every phone I’ve owned in the last eight years. This particular product failed, and for the first time I’ve had to reach out to their customer care team, outside of Amazon.Within the hour, I had a replacement item shipped by Smartish along with an apology and an offer to refund one of my past purchases since the May product failed as well. I was astonished. This kind of customer service just doesn’t exist anymore.I told him the same thing I’ll tell you. They’ve made a consumer for life. People like being treated as though their problem is important and matters. That’s exactly how I felt during this exchange.
