I purchased the meta quest 3 in October, and I have to say, the headset strap that meta ships with it is quite basic. It tightens around your head and becomes uncomfortable when you’re playing VR games, so finding a replacement strap is essential.What first attracted me to the S3DUO was its design. Unlike most other straps, it has a magnetic battery design and a charging dock. I’ve been using this for about a month now, and here’s my experience and thoughts.1. Design and Installation 🌟🌟 🌟🌟I wasn’t very familiar with VR accessory brands, but when I first came across this one, I checked their website and YouTube channel. Their images and videos were beautifully designed, much better than other third-party sellers. As for the product design, the look is simple, and the circular light in the middle blends well with the quest 3 design — it even looks like an official meta accessory. The installation was simply, taking me about 4 minutes from unboxing to setup. I recommend reading the user manual before use, and make sure the silicone pad is installed correctly.2. Functionality 🌟🌟 🌟🌟What attracted me most to this product was the magnetic battery pack. When playing games, you can easily attach or remove the battery pack without having to pause your game, which is much more convenient than built-in battery headsets. Initially, I was worried that it might fall off during intense movements, but I tested it with shooting and boxing games, and the battery pack stayed securely attached with strong magnetic force. Additionally, the battery pack has a low power indicator — when the battery is nearly depleted, it emits three “beep” sounds to remind you to charge it.3. Comfort🌟🌟 🌟🌟 🌟The adjustment knob and straps are very smooth, and the head strap can be extended and adjusted to fit different head shapes. There’s a foam pad in the middle, which seems to help distribute the weight of the headset and reduce pressure on your face. While playing games, the strap fits comfortably around my head, but I can still feel the weight of the console. The battery pack at the back balances some of the weight, and for someone like me who doesn’t game for long periods, the overall comfort is quite good.4. Charging Speed🌟🌟 🌟🌟 🌟This battery strap claims to have 20W fast charging. I tested the charging speed and found that it took about 2 hours and 20 minutes to charge the Quest 3 from 0% to 100%, which is very close to the advertised time. I also noticed that when the battery pack is attached during a game, the Quest 3 first drains the battery pack before using its own power. I also tested the battery life when the Quest 3 and one battery pack were both fully charged — the total gameplay time was around 4 hours and 20 minutes. The S3DUO comes with two battery packs, so you can use one while the other charges, ensuring you never have to worry about running out of battery.5. Battery Dock 🌟🌟 🌟🌟The dock design is very clever. It not only charges the battery but also stores it. The magnetic charging design is very convenient — just place the battery pack on the dock, and charging begins. The dock supports 30W fast charging, but note that when charging a single battery pack, the maximum speed is 15W, not 30W.Overall 🌟🌟 🌟🌟 🌟At $80, honestly this accessory isn’t cheap, but the S3 duo perfectly meets my needs for playing Quest 3 games: comfort, convenience, and extended battery life. It also looks good and is well-built. I believe it’s a product worth the price.

Comfortable User Friendly Quest 3 head strap
If you have a Quest 3, you find out that if you want to spend a decent amount of time in VR, you will need to update the head strap. I tried using the factory Meta strap included with the Quest 3, but it caused me head pain after 30 minutes.This Sonicgrace strap was easy to install I have tried 2 other similar straps, but this one seems superior to the others.The adjustment knob is very smooth, better than other similar straps on the market today. While in VR, I hear others playing VR games adjusting their ratchet-sounding loose strap but have yet to adjust mine while playing.I have a smaller head, 23″ circumference, and have had no issues with comfort. The strap stays in place, even during fast-paced VR games with no pain.Unlike one of the other straps I have tried, the power for this unit is separate from the head strap, meaning you can switch out the power banks easily while playing, especially with the magnetic design, and foolproof, as the unit chimes when it is in in the correct position. I have so far experienced no buzzing or humming noise that I have experienced with other power banks, no too hot temperature from the power banks like some other power banks, the charge seems to last for my games for about 90-120 minutes (depending on the game) for each bank.When the charge runs low, the power bank emits occasional beeps to warn you it is running low and it is time to replace it – very user-friendly! And the beeps are not audible to those who stream – even better!Some reviewers note it doesn’t include a USB-C power adapter, but these days, most consumer electronics have one.Recharging is also a breeze, as the Charge dock also beeps when you place the banks correctly on the charge dock. Also, no one mentioned these banks come 75% pre-charged out of the box – so user-friendly!I’ve now worn the comfort strap for 3 gaming sessions of an average of 2 hours, playing games in MR like Broken Edge, higher intensity rounds of Drop Dead the Cabin, and Population One.Thanks for reading, and be sure to follow for Quest 3 reviews!

Das Teil ist eigentlich absolut super.Man kann im während dem Zocken den Akku tauschen und so unterschiedlich lange nutzen.Auch der Tragekomfort ist super da der Akku hinten das Gewicht ausgleicht.ABER: Die Akkus piepsen andauernd ohne ersichtlichen Grund. Leider gibt es in keiner Anleitungen eine Info was das soll. Auch der Support hilft nicht weiter.Deshalb nur 2 Sterne da das Teil dadurch unbrauchbar wird. Meine Rückgabe ist schon abgelaufen aber ich werde es Reklamieren und zurück geben.Update: Ich hatte 2 Sterne gegeben. Korrigiere aber jetzt auf 5 da mir der Kaufpreis in voller Höhe anstandslos erstattet wurde da es sich wohl doch um einen Defekt handelt. Kann ja mal Passieren. Denn wenn es nicht Piept ist es echt ein Super Zubehör.

Qualitativ hochwertig verarbeitet. Die Akkus werden magnetisch gehalten und sind stark genug das sie nicht abfallen. Insgesamt eine Empfehlung.
