Innovative
The market for athletic headphone all pretty much look the same. They pretty much are all in-ear Bluetooth earbuds. My problem with in-ear earbuds is risk of fungal infection (which happened to me), and not being able to hear around you. There are also the bone construction headphones, but many have an issue with the vibration sensation. So that leave Sony Float. These are little speakers that “float” over your ears. Sony Float are very comfortable and do not require constant refitting like earbuds. Sony Float sound quality is OK. They lack bass. I expected that though. For true audiophile experience, I have large over ear cans. But alas, over ear cans are too hot to workout in. Sony Float are also easy to clean by just wiping them off. The thing I love about Sony Float is how you can hear everything around you, but still enjoy your audio. I was listing to NPR on a walk and I could still hear the birds and wind blowing through the trees! It is like I have my normal hearing and my audio is just there floating in the air. Of course, if you crank up the volume, your audio will drown out your environmental sounds. Sony Float does not require an app like a lot of headphones do. It just uses basic Bluetooth for operation. If you value great fit, infection free, and hearing your surroundings, Sony Float are great. If sound quality is your top priority, you may want to look elsewhere.

They are worth the buy for me
These Sony Float runs are the best over the ear so far, I get up in the morning and put them on with ease. The best part for me is, that I was looking for an over the ear that I could talk normal or lower in an office setting and still be heard, most of them you have to tilt or adjust your head to be heard. The sound for hearing is great listening to music, books, or conversation. The thing that I like least is that the over the ear handle portion is a bit thick and will cause you to sweat, although I don’t generally sweat much, so if you do that part might be annoying. You really can wear them all day, but not designed to lay on for a nap without adjustments. I go for walks with them on and their fit stays nicely. I can’t speak for high agility workouts.

Good sound
Good open ear headphones. The sound is great. I did return them because they weren’t a perfect fit on my ears.

Much better than I expected
Stays on the head very well during running and exercises. Didnât have to adjust once over my 4 mile run.
Audio quality is very good.
I donât like that I can say âhey siriâ while theyâre on though, but I know thatâs limited use case for most so Iâll still leave a 5 bc the other factors are great

Sonyâs product support sucks
So, the silicone covering detached after 3 weeks of use. Sony says thatâs physical damage and not covered under warranty. I think the silicone wasnât glued on right.
Sony sucks

Safely listen to your music
This is working great for kayaking because I donât worry about them falling into the water. I can also hear boats approaching. Great for biking and hiking too because I can listen to music and hear things around me.

It is good for exercise, but the sound was not as I expected
Good for exercise because the sound unit is away from the ear canals. I also use MeloAudio ZC08, and I feel the sound is better with Melo’s. If you will have a lot of sweat, Sony’s seems better. It is your choice.

Gran calidad de sonido, resistente al sudor, sin presión innecesaria en cabeza u oÃdos que lo hacen ideal para deportistas con sensibilidad en oÃdos o en cabeza.

I’ve seen these in Yodobashi in Japan. These don’t block your ears, nor they are a headache inducing bone conductive headphones. Just two small speakers aimed towards your ears from about 5 mm distance.
But you will likely soon have the same problem Sony had – the rubber jacket will start peeling off and you will be not able to properly glue it back as no rubber glue sticks to the strange material. In fact my headphones came with the rubber already peeling on both sides. I didn’t bother returning them, because they would likely start peeling within a week. I superglued the thing and made a bit of mess, but at least it is not peeling anymore.
Everything else is good. I love this type of headphones and wish more companies would make them, but only Sony seems to take the risk of making something different – and then sadly messing it up with the manufacturing.
I’m not sure if we will see v. 2.0 of these as I assume there must be a lot of complains because of the cosmetic issue.

I purchased a pair of headphones at full price, but upon receiving them, it was evident that someone else had previously used them. This experience was disappointing and did not reflect the quality I expected when making my purchase.

Ideales para hacer ejercicio, no pesan, no se caen y si andas en la calle no bloquea al 100 % lo que pasa en la calle. Muy seguros y son de los mejores que he tenido.
