    LOVE These
Natural sounding, great low end and very comfortable to wear. They adjust nicely for a perfect fit. It’s nice that you can replace the cord. These sound like a mixing studio and are perfect for work and play. Get these if you need something for mixing or other work projects, you will like these.

    These Sony’s shine!
I have a number of different headphones. Sennheiser HD 650, Hifi man HE400, NAD Hp50. Also a number of others that I won’t even mention. I am driving these Sony’s with a Simaudio Moon 240had. These headphones sound absolutely spectacular. They do everything right. Whoever Tunes at Sony did a great job. I would recommend these headphones to anyone. Also it’s important to remember to drive them with the right headphone amp. They do sound different with different headphone amps and some of them that I have don’t sound as good. I have also listened to the focal clear. I know this is subjective but I think for the money and the value you can’t do better than these. Also the majority of the interviews that you would read on here are pretty accurate. Happy shopping!

    A love letter to Japan
When I was a kid the best and the most desirable things came from Japan. Right now I can clam that these headphones are the best headphones in the world if you take into account price/sound quality/comfort combination. I am glad that after so many years Japan still produces the best things in the world. Thank you, Sony!

Vwry nice, cable not so much
The headphones themselves are very nice. Probably the most comfortable headphone I have ever owned. The cable, however, isn’t as nice. Whenever I turn my head, it makes a clicking sound that I can hear. It is caused by the way the cable is constructed right near the plug. The cable is also 8 feet long, which is too long for my purpose.

Unmatched Comfort and Immersive Sound with a Touch of Genius
Having transitioned from the Sennheiser HD6xx to the Sony MDR-MV1, I’ve noticed a substantial improvement in how I enjoy music, especially during long listening sessions. Here’s why the MDR-MV1 stands out:Comfort That Lasts: What sets the MDR-MV1 apart for me is its unparalleled comfort. The headphones are light, significantly reducing the strain on my head and ears, a stark contrast to the HD6xx’s tighter clamp. This gentle yet secure fit allows me to listen for hours without the discomfort or headaches I used to face.Expansive Soundstage: Sound-wise, the MDR-MV1 impresses with a wider soundstage that brings a new dimension to my music. It’s as if I’m in the room with the artists, surrounded by sound that’s rich and full of depth.A Touch of Genius: A detail I particularly appreciate is the small bump on the left ear cup. This clever feature makes it easy to identify the left and right sides by touch alone, streamlining the user experience with a simple yet effective solution.

Most comfortable audiophile headphone I EVER have
I had multiple IEMs, Headphones, TWSs. This is probably the best headphone I ever have. Best audio and best comfort. I can wear it a whole day and enjoy my music nonstop. Highly recommend!

My favourite so far, mainly for mixing, you can hear more details than anything else. Listening to recordings I’m familiar with I was able to hear new details with ease, usually takes a lot of concentration to hear, I was able to hear the individual notes of a chord instead of just the chord. I highly recommend it for listening and mixing, the only drawback is the vocals are not in your face like some others and you may need to lower 8k a tiny bit to make them sound even better, and flat. Every db of + or – eq you do, is very noticeable it’s really something.

So light weight but more powerful. Very good cushioning which feels very soft on ears.very comfortable,I can wear it long hours without fatigue. Overall build quality is superb. I got it in 18k which is steal deal for me. MRP is 59.9k mentioned in the box. Value for money headphones. Functionality is simply 3.5mm input, no other physical buttons present, no microphone, no battery as it is professional headphone.

Build wise these are super lightweight, but well made, and comfortable for long listening sessions. Sony has made them to be the most fun sounding analytical headphones. I’m pairing them with Topping DX1 and gosh they sound so beautiful… Got mine for 21k and they were a steal at this price! Now, I just can’t get myself to like any other pair of headphones 🥲
