Thunderous bass !
I brought these headphones to replace my cowin e7 headphones which cost a fraction of what these cost. You get what you pay for. These Sony ult headphones sound amazing! Iâm a bass head I listen to lots of hip hop especially songs which I know has lots of low end bass to them. This headset handles it effortlessly. The cowin e7 does not have the bass response these have not even close . Very deep smooth and controlled not overwhelming. The highs and clarity are very good as well. The headsets block out outside noise very well feels like a soundproof vacuum when I put them on. And they are comfortable to wear even for hours at a time . One thing I must say. I use these headsets with my iPhone 14 and especially with older hip hop songs the volume on the phone doesnât cut it for me. So I ordered a riworal ph400 headphone amplifier 4 channel for like 35 bucks on Amazon. This amp combined with the Sony ult headphones is a game changer far as sound and deep bass is concerned. My iPhone is actually longer than the amp itself but the amp is a half inch thicker.Very small compact size: I get the volume clarity and deep clean bass when I use the amp and headphones together. Too bad amp is not battery powered but itâs a great sounding amp. Djs use this to amplify their headphones in noisy environments. I love the fact the knobs glow different colors very nice illumination! I only turn up the volume about a 1/4 of whatâs itâs capable of but itâs plenty loud at that volume! Even at high levels on this amp the Sony ult headphones handle it no problem . For people who use their phone to listen to music with you may want to consider a headphone amp. Should have brought one before when I first got the idea in my head .These Sony headphones are well worth the price !Update : I have used on several occasions and owned them for quite a while now . So like I said previously they sound awesome. Charge lasts for quite a while !! I donât use the noise canceling feature it drains the battery a lot faster. These block out most outside noise without the feature activated. Only one bad thing with these . On my Samsung 75 inch tv these wonât connect via Bluetooth. I googled it and found an article confirming my suspicions were accurate. Flat screen Samsungs wonât connect via Bluetooth with these ult headsets. I love these headsets!!!

I think theyâre nice, but I donât think there is base heavy as to the Skullcandy headphones. I think there is no brand on this planet that produces bass of the skull, rattling quality than Skullcandy. However, these are so comfortable⦠Not as comfortable as the Skullcandy headphones, the ANC Crushers, but itâs OKThe battery life is insane and itâs on power with the Skullcandy battery life and if I was to really get into it, I would say that their battery life is the best.The controls are very easy and I love the fact that when you take it off a positive song and when you put it on back, it plays the song. I like the fact that it has multipoint connectivity so it connects to both my iPhone and my MacBook at the exact same time and I have the 2018 MacBook, so thatâs actually really great.Itâs not as loud as I wanted it to be but other times itâs extremely loud and I canât pinpoint if itâs just my ears or if itâs really my preference. But sometimes itâs loud sometimes itâs not. I donât know what that is but itâs not low.That being said, it does have a lot of bass and you definitely do hear the boom from the bass, but like I said itâs not as powerful as Skullcandy, but I think itâs a little bit clearer and A lot less muddled.The microphone is good and sometimes itâs not, but I will have the headphone like maybe arms length from where I am and Iâll be talking and the person can still hear me or when Iâm using dictation or speech to text, itâs still picking up what Iâm saying, even though Iâm nowhere near the headphone.I love the fact that it has built-in protection for sudden increases in the volume. So like when I have my phone in my hand sometime, Iâll click the volume button and Iâll click it all the way up and sometimes I have to prepare myself because I think Iâm gonna get my eardrums blown out, but what happens is if you suddenly turn up immediately it probably takes like half a second to fully get LOUD (peak)! and I think thatâs great because it protects your eardrums.Itâs kind of shaped awkward when itâs on your ears, but I donât mind it and like I said, I love the touch controls because itâs a lot easier than fidgeting with a whole bunch of buttons. Itâs worth the price that I paid even though I didnât really pay for it. I used gift card, but.The personal sound with the app doesnât really do much but I guess itâs OK. I like that it has a built-in equalizer, but even that doesnât really do much. I will say this, the sound quality is a lot clearer from this headphone compared to the Skullcandy ANC crusher.I love it.

Awesome pair of headphones.
First off Iâll star by saying that the battery life is incredible. I went on a trip last week for Thanksgiving and used them for about a 8-10 consecutive hour trip and they only went down about 15-20%. Size is good and theyâre not heavy at all, they feel light on your head. Functionality is great and everything works as expected. Sound quality is honestly really really good, especially with some tweaking to the equalizer, it sounds super crisp and nice. Honestly really good value for the money, noise cancellation and transparency work incredibly, everything comes together with this neat pair of headphones and I couldnât ask for better, would recommend!

If you love bass, you can hear crystal clear drops on Ult Wear. Suited for every other genre. Industry level ANC. There is two extra bass modifier through ULT button for better punch. You can also turn off bass boost if that’s not what you’re looking for. Using for 4 months now. No issues to report.

These headphones are just bang for the bucks!! Im a basic audio enthusiast and an avid music lover.. My personal taste of audio is a mixed one.. I waited so long and after many years Sony ultimately launched this ULT headphone that perfectly fits my taste of music.. I usually prefer only headphones for listening music and watching movies as they completely cover up your ears and drives powerful audio straight to your sealed ears.. That is a different experience than the in ear or TWS ones.. And I definitely need BASS without any compromise on mid section, the highs, sound to be rich, clean with decent stereo staging.. This one satisfies all that.. I do use EQ to tweak settings for my taste and once setup, hell yeah it is just out of the world!! I dont understand why many reviews downplay music quality like mids, highs, crispness, stereo staging etc but this one does all that with that massive bass too!! Either there are headphones with rich audio clarity but lacks on bass or there are the other bassy ones that makes other aspects sound trash.. But this one for me is an all rounder.. Music which has only rich vocals, string sections without much bass lines too sound soo good same as music with immersive bass.. By bass I dont mean just the upper bass which gives you headache but the really low end rumbles extending deeper to sub 20Hz or even less which you can actually feel.. I feel like Im in an IMAX theatre or somewhere straight into the studios after I put this up.. Even for ppl who dont like bass there is an option to completely switch it off.. For me it works wonders with the first ULT mode.. That is damn impressive.. Everyone whom I asked to listen this was just blown away.. I really love it..I have tried many brands like Sennheiser Momentum plus (diaphragm distortion) even at moderate volume so returned back, then JBL not satisfied with audio quality though had bass, then some new companies like SonicLamb which fakes the bass (No bass less than 40Hz or so but will fake with some artificial vibrations) which I threw to trash.. Finally this is the real and clean one for my budget..I don’t even look into Noise cancelling as I mostly listen music only indoors but this actually does a pretty good job and silences the outer noise by almost half.. Most of the times I don’t even need it indoors..Likewise i rarely make calls with this but that is pretty good as well..Bluetooth connection and latency is fine for me as I’m not gamer.. Connection is very stable and it can connect two devices at once..Battery is also pretty good so as the charging time..If I have to speak about some cons, the headphone always runs with noise cancelling mode on by default even if you toggle it through headphone control.. Ambient noise mode off does not actually turn off, but the mics work even harder to amplify external noises so that you can hear everything around.. Everytime you have to get the app running and set like while detecting as ‘Staying’ then completely turn off noise cancelling feature.. As a person who is not interested much on this aspect I don’t have to put this extra load to the headphone and I have to switch it off manually through the app everytime..And I also prefer the headphones to be more louder.. Some movies or videos have very low volume and even at highest volume it’s not loud enough..But these are manageable and overall I think Sony really nailed with this headphone..!!

AGAIN believing in SONY, I bought this ULT WEAR. This is what you can expect from Sony. Fantastic headphone with true sound quality, awesome bass, a very good battery life and comfortable fit. ANC is very good at this price point. The headphone and the included hard carrying case looks premium. Sound quality is incredible. Now this is ULT power sound so, you get ULT 1 & ULT 2Even the ULT setting is off, you also get bass but on ULT 1 , you get a decent amount of bass and ULT 2 , the punchy bass and deep sound make the earcups vibrate but this doesn’t make the rest of the music muddy. Also you can make it more right from the app. Overall great quality headphone. Every ULT products win including this headphone. BELIEVE IN SONYDON’T LISTEN TO NEGATIVE COMMENTS.
