Great Cards
I first bought the Spark Cards 2, but knew that soon I would be adding to my repertoire by buying thefirst set. I am so glad I did. This set of cards is a high-quality resource which lends itself to so manydifferent goals and skills. My students were thrilled that I got another set. I love the questions thataccompany each sequence. The questions encourage students to think critically. In addition, variousproblem-solving scenarios are listed for each sequence. I love how the box is organized so neatly withdividers and color-coded cards. The pictures are interesting and there are lots of small details in eachscene to talk about and expand on, depending on the skill/level of the student. These cards are afantastic resource that I use often!

Mom gone speech language pathologist!
How cool is it that I can conduct professional speech therapy sessions without any formal education? These cards set it all out for me, perfectly planned lessons in whatever my childâs langue goals are. There is so much you can do with them, itâs insane! My kidâs therapist recommended them to me, and I am very grateful. I use them with all my kids, not only the ones in therapy, because they are versatile in terms of level. In fact, when friends come over, I hear them saying, âLetâs play Sparkâ, and explaining to their friends what the âgameâ is all about. ðPROS:-beautiful, clear, and culturally diverse illustrations-easy materials provided for dummy moms like me-for all language levels from delayed toddlers to smart preteens-strong sturdy cards and storageCONS:-these should have come out 15 years ago when my older ones were little. Itâs about time someone filled in this need…

I have a different set of SPARK sequencing cards and LOVE them so much I bought these. These are great to address a variety of different goals/concepts. Sequencing, grammar, inferences, predictions, etc… These pictures are detailed so you address goals on different levels.

Does the job
These decks have many uses, and does the job. However, some of the scenes are much too saturated. Too much background actions going on that donât relate to the main story making it hard for some students to sequence.

Awesome, easy to use therapy tool!
The Spark Cards are a wonderful therapy tool! The scenes are great for teaching cause and effect, sequencing, reasoning and for training executive function skills of Space, Time, Objects, and People. I loved the first set so I ordered these and they’re just as great, if not better!

Great for storytelling and sequencing
These card sets are just what I was looking for. I’m an ESL teacher and I use them to help my students tell stories and work on sequencing. They have great pictures with lots of details to talk about and sample prompts for each story set. The cards are sturdy enough that they should last me for a few years. I like them enough I’m planning to get the Set 1 cards too.

Mediocre
I am an SLP using these materials in a public school setting. Cards are sturdy. The picture scenes are somewhat too muddled and small for some of my students. They are not as clear and comprehensible as I had wished. Not terrible, simply not as transparent and accessible as I had hoped.

Las historias permiten trabajar muy bien con varios tipos de ejercicios. Muy buen material. Se me hizo un poco caro, pero si es una buena inversión para profesores o terapeutas.
