Very sturdy and good maneuverability
I normally buy cheaper products, but after using some lower quality standing desks I thought I better get something better. I’m so glad I did.The rollers are really solid. My only complaint about them is that they do catch on a little rug I have. I took one point off for that- I think bigger wheels would be better both for rugs and to go over extension cords.Speaking of extension cords, someone wrote a review about tying up the cords to improve maneuvarability and I decided to follow suit. I bought the TESSAN Surge Protector Flat Plug with 9.8 Ft Extension Cord and used the screws it came with to secure it to the underside, and I bought Adjustable Adhesive Cable Ties Cable Clips and and Nylon Zip Ties for Cable Management. I also used some double sided velcro I had to secure two hard drives I use for backup to the base. With my setup in place I can actually wheel my desk from my office to my covered patio on the nicer days. The patio entry presents a minor problem (due to the small wheels mentioned above); however, it is manageable.I really love this desk.

Good so far!
I bought this for my wife to use for work, she has been working from home for 13 years and has been using a tv tray the whole time. Better late than never! It took me about a half hour to put together using the supplied tools, although I did end up using a larger screw driver for ease. The one thing I did notice was the “box” that the motor head slots in to is bigger than the motor, so there is a gap when you go to put the screws in. I just put some scrap metal in to take up the gap, no big deal and it would probably be fine if you didn’t, I’m just picky. I have it set up pretty much the same as the sample picture, with the lap top and monitor on the upper level and a keyboard and mouse on the lower level. I mounted a power strip so there is only one cable coming off of it. She is happy with it so far, it is easy to set the heights and she can go from sitting to standing really quick. I like it better than the sit/stand desks I have at my work!

Perfect Solution for My Small Apartment
I would rate this 4.5 if I could. I was wanting (and needing) an adjustable desk that was big enough for my computer, extra monitors, external hard drives, notepads, mouse, etc. but small enough to fit into my small apartment with complex layout. It needed to be solid enough to support all my accessories but mobile enough for me to move around/put away as necessary. The Stand Steady Cruizer Premier Rolling Electric Podium Desk nailed all of those requirements. It’s the perfect size for all of my accessories and for my apartment. I can move it around as needed. It’s sturdy. It’s been such a great find. Especially for the price point. It’s easy to use, easy to raise and lower, and easy to set the memory positions for automatic height adjustment. My only wish is that it had a lower lowest position. The lowest setting is a little high for me. I’m an average-ish sized man (5’9″) and I still need to reach up a little more than I’d like when the desk is at it’s lowest/sitting position. However, I mostly use it at the elevated positions.A great investment for my work-from-home situation.

stand up desk
using it right now, its amazing. !!! I can stand, I can sit. its perfect. It is smaller then a normal desk, so you can’t have a lot of junk on it…….(thank goodness) The color black is great. It goes up and down very smoothly, and the wheels do lock in place.

Working From Home is Better Standing Up
Like many people I started working from home fulltime in 2021. My office was a makeshift card table and chair set-up in my living room. This has proved problematic and messy. So, this year I started to look for an alternative solution. After a few searches I stumbled on this Stand Steady Mobile Podium. This totally fits my needs. It is big enough to accommodate my computer and monitor. Itâs small and mobile which allows me to move it out the way when the work day ends. And the most important piece is I can stand versus sitting all day. I did have a few hiccups in assembling. The first I was sent a defective part, but Stand Steady customer service sent me a new desk and I had no problems assembling it myself. Iâm really love it.

I LOVE my Steady Stand desk (quality, ease of assembly, price & functionality)!
I LOVE my Steady Stand desk! I had spent more money and time on another competitive product and was so disappointed in the quality that I returned it (at great expense and hassle factor) and went looking for an alternative. Given my recent purchase experience I was wary and weary. When my Steady Stand arrived and I opened it up to start assembling, I was immediately relieved. Clear instructions. Great quality parts. Easy to assemble. Works like a charm! Exceeded my high expectations and for less money, too. Beware of cheap imitations or expensive desks that donât deliver.

Electronic Adjustment controller does not work
It’s a nice unit but the electronic controller to raise and lower it DOES NOT WORK WORTH A CRAP. I’ve set two memorized heights. When I push the memory button to lower it from the upper level I have set, it goes down a little, then stops. Push again, the same thing. I have to push the memory button or down arrow about 10 times to get it to the low level I have set. Worthless.
