Feature-Rich Gaming PC with Some Connectivity Issues
What’s Most Important to Know: The STGAubron Gaming Desktop PC comes packed with powerful components and a range of RGB accessories that will appeal to gamers looking for a ready-to-use, visually appealing setup. However, its wireless connectivity leaves much to be desired.Review: I’ve been using the STGAubron Gaming Desktop PC for about a month, primarily for high-end gaming and multimedia tasks. The Intel Core i7-6700 processor and Radeon RX 580 graphics card provide robust performance, handling most modern games at high settings smoothly. The 32GB DDR4 RAM and a massive 2TB SSD are excellent for fast loading times and ample storage. The aesthetics of this setup are a major highlight—three RGB fans, an RGB keyboard and mouse, an RGB mouse pad, and an RGB Bluetooth soundbar create a dynamic and immersive gaming environment. The soundbar provides clear, rich audio, which enhances the gaming experience significantly. What I Liked and Disliked: The overall build quality and performance of the desktop are impressive. It’s easy to set up out of the box, and the sheer amount of RGB gear included makes it a visually stunning addition to any gaming space. However, the major downside is the WiFi dongle, which I found to be underwhelming. The internet connectivity is inconsistent, with frequent drops that can be quite frustrating, especially during online gaming or streaming. Considering the importance of stable online connectivity in gaming, this is a significant drawback.Usage: This PC has been my primary device for gaming, video editing, and watching high-definition videos. The capabilities of the hardware make it ideal for demanding tasks, but the poor WiFi connection has limited its use for online-dependent activities.

What’s to like about this boat anchor?
Ok, first off, I’m fairly PC savvy and somewhat technical, but right out of the box you knew something was off. Upon first bootup, you need a LAN cable to connect so the initial setup can be completed. What? Who has a LAN cable lying around, I did, but most won’t. Ok, so I schlep the equipment over to my WIRELESS router so I can connect the cable to it. Continue on setting up Windows and the cheap bluetooth & WiFi dongles that come with it are as cheap looking as they come. I did not realize there is no built in WiFi on the motherboard or internal NIC card, but OK. Cannot get the internet to work. Finally gave up and bought a WiFi booster connection for an extra $30. Finally got WiFi working the next day. Then connection problems happened. Windows explorer cannot read my external HDD, tried all USB ports. iTunes cannot recognize phone in USB ports. Then finally got WiFi and sound working, but super fancy video card & sound cannot synch up videos. I mean, cmon, this is the Ferrari of parts and I have to watch a Youtube or internet video and the sound is almost a second behind the video. I tried everything, tweaking card, display, sound, nothing worked. This was not related to the internet lagging or whatever because I had saved videos on my drive & that didn’t work properly either. Very frustrating that I would need to go through all these hoops just to get basic PC functions to work properly. And I never even tried to load a super graphical intensive video game yet because of these issues. Why bother. End result, returning the PC and getting a well known, recognizable brand PC that may cost more, but worth it. And there’s no instructions whatsoever for any setup, aside from how to take the case off and look at all the pretty colors inside the very large case. I admit I was influenced by the prettiness of this PC and the parts sounded great, but you need to be a techie to get everything working & tweaked the way it should be working right out of the box. Very disappointed.

Way beyond the power and value of anything else in this price range!
Let me start with the introduction. I bought this gaming pc through my mother’s Amazon acct(transfered the money to her bank acct and sent her the link of which model I needed since I did not at the time have my own Prime acct). On to the PC… This package is a BEAST of a machine for the price point of $750! It’s an absolute STEAL! Are you getting a 12th gen i7? No, of course not! That’s how they can bring the price down and bring a better value to the customer.( I see some people complaining that it is not the newest generation i7 cpu, but to be honest the i7 they give you will literally play ANY current gen game(including cyberpunk 2077) in the highest ultra settings no problem! I use mine to send the gpu signal over HDMI 2.1 cable to my SONY Master series XR48A90K OLED 48″ 4k 120hz UHD TV. I play all my pc games at 4k resolution with maxed out graphics and ray tracing on and my FPS in games like Cyberpunk 2077 is around 52 FPS in ultra settings and 4k resolution. If I were to drop to 1440p or 1080p I would have WAAAAY more frames than that!In games like Gears of War 4 I get 196 fps on average in the highest settings and in native 4k resolution as well.I made some minor improvements to my rig as well… I cloned my SSD hd and moved my boot drive over to a higher capacity 2TB Crucial MX500 3D NAND SSD, I replaced the 500 watt “unrated power supply” with a Thermaltake Tr2 RX 750 watt modular power supply for more expandability and power for my components. I added a 1TB Western Digital Black high performance gaming hard drive.(I’ll keep my original 1 TB boot drive as a backup in case my Crucial MX500 3D NAND SSD were to fail. I installed a new SoundBlaster Audigy 5/RX 7.1 HD 24 bit 192khz sound card. I installed a 12″ RGB LED light bar to the bottom of my case which plugs directly into the included SATA RGB controller (10 fans + 2 LED light strips/bars).I cleaned up my cables using UV reactive cable shielding.Lastly I bought and installed some “Vath-made “GeForce RTX” and “Intel Core i7 inside” metal badges/stickers to the outside of my case.I then overclocked my RTX 3060 to +200Mhz on the gpu core clock and +900Mhz on the GDDR6 Memory clock. This setup now benchmarks using cinebench and Furmark equal with a 3060ti!I’m so happy I was able to snag this great deal and would certainly buy again knowing what I know! Don’t listen to the negative reviewers out there complaining that they can’t get the newest $500 cpu’s in a system that only runs you $750 to start! You get everything you need to game with ultra settings in 4k and believe me… This setup WILL RUN any modern title you wanna throw at it! It has never failed to play any one of my games!
