Game changer for after surgery
I love to read and after a recent surgery was in bed for quite a bit of time. This was such a sturdy stand and adjustable to accommodate the different positions I was in throughout my recovery. It held my kindle oasis with no problem and along with a page turner, it was a perfect solution for allowing me to read with minimal movement. Set up was a breeze and it is very sturdy. This stand does its job reasonably well, especially for the price, so I canât complain too much. My wife has been using it daily for months without any issues with durability. In fact, she says it’s one of her favorite gifts I’ve ever given herâeven though I didnât really buy it as a gift!That said, the design has some flaws. As other reviewers have pointed out, the base isnât heavy enough to keep it firmly upright when fully extended. It often tips over, especially when you try to adjust the height or angle too much. We have it placed next to my wifeâs recliner, and while she enjoys using it to read or watch videos without straining, the risk of tipping over is a constant concern.

Just purchased the second one of these as the initial purchase was for a special-needs young adult that spends a lot of time in a wheelchair & bed and it was perfect for that application. Sturdy and versatile
I ordered this stand to help me while I’m reading eBooks as I have a nerve condition that causes neck pain when I look down at my phone or tablet for too long.This stand is perfect for reading or watching videos on my tablet while I’m sitting or lying in bed with no neck pain. It is easy to adjust to the right height and angle, but holds my tablet steady without sinking. I have used this product every day since I got it and I couldn’t love it more! The only possible negative I have is that the spring that holds the clamp on the tablet itself is very strong which makes it difficult to put my tablet into the holder without a good amount of leverage (it’s quite hard to do while lying down or if one of your arms isn’t fully mobile) but that’s also a good thing as the clamp holds the tablet very securely no matter what position the arm is in.Overall, I love how sturdy and useful the stand is, especially for the price!

Works well after I modified and attached to my bed
This works really nicely now. it is adjustable and, since it is attached to the bed rail, I can swing the arm anywhere.The arm comes off easily so I modified it to have a groove for the arm lock screw to catch on. it does not come off now.Really nice product. Stays in place with my Ipad Mini.

I have a 11â iPad Pro in a heavy, rigid case, and saw too many negative reviews of stands with lower ratings. I decided to stay away from anything with less than 4.5 overall. It was a relief when this one turned out to be so well-engineered.Highlights:- Joints are tight and sturdy- holds position with no sag or wobble, even binge-watching movies and shows.- Comes with a rubber âbrake padâ insert for the ball joint. This works just as well with a small âphone, as it does with my iPad.- Friction controls at all hinge points lock and hold position without excessive force.- Pivot for side to side adjustment holds well, but still allows you to swing the arm to one side when needed.- Clamp has open ends. See photo w/my iPhone 13 Pro- this is important, as you can access the charge port and power button regardless of where theyâre located on the device.- Surprisingly flexible. It works equally well with my iPhone, Kindle Paperwhite and 10.3â Scribe, and my 11â iPad despite its large, heavy armoured case.Hints & suggestions:- Since the brake pad works equally smoothly with small and large devices, consider it a must-have.- If your device sags, try gently tightening the hinge adjusters or ball clamp. Donât overdo it- excessive force is unnecessary.- Be strategic about placement. Start with a level surface, and make sure to place the stand so the foot is no more than 45 degrees off-axis from the arm, to prevent tipping.- For extra stability, place a weight on the generously-sized foot. I used the round base from an old standard lamp on mine.

I had to add a 5kg dumbbell to make the base sturdier. The tablet also wobbles if you use it for coloring or taking notes. You can hold it with the other hand and that makes it more stable of course.I also didn’t get any assembly instructions in the box and couldn’t find them online. I also think I received an extra part because it doesn’t fit anywhere. If the seller provides the instructions, maybe the wobble issue might get solved.This is slightly pricier than I expected for the functionality, but the other stands I’ve tried for the same price are worse and I had to return them.The stand arm is pretty good, and angles/movement is flexible enough for most use cases. I think with lighter devices it will be even better.I’m returning it because of the tilt. I’ve tried various angles and pivot adjustments but I can’t seem to be able to solve this issue. I was really hoping this stand would work.

I got a Samsung S9 Tab Ultra, and it’s difficult to hold or stand up while in bed due to its large 14.6inch size, even with a decent cover/case.This clamps this large tablet perfectly. Nice and firm too. So if it fits this tablet it will fit ANY tablet.The whole thing can be swiped away when not in use and adjusted really easily too. I can’t comment on the durability as I only just got it, but seems to be built pretty well.I would recommend this product if you have problems standing up or viewing your tablet while in bed.

Easy to assemble with no extra screws or tools needed. Good height for beds and couches & it is very easy to adjust the height. The base plate is solid and heavy which makes it very stable. The adjustable knobs are easy to tighten and loosen. Though would need to be careful, as the knobs and the grip are made of plastic. (I hope the company considers selling replacement pieces!) Holds my 11″ iPad pro easily. Not idle for using while using the pen as it can shakes a bit.
