Truly 2x Faster – Transfer 15 hours of video or 25,000 photos in 1-2 minutes. Crossery Thunderbolt 3 doubles the speed to 40 Gbps compared to any previous generation Thunderbolt PCIW. (Transfer speed depends on your host and device support.)
8x Faster Than Type C 3.0 – The Thunderbolt cable offers high-speed data transfer and supplies power up to 100W, making it 4x faster than USB-C Gen 2 and 8x faster than Type C 3.0. It is far superior to any other Apple Thunderbolt cable or Thunderbolt cable for Mac on the market.
Wider Compatibility – The Crossery Thunderbolt extension cable is compatible with Thunderbolt 3/4 Dock, eGPU, Graphics Card, Apollo, Galaxy S20/S10/S10+, Galaxy Note 10/10+/9, Galaxy S9/S9+/S8/S8+, Google Pixel 2/2XL/3/3XL/3a/4/4XL, and iPad Pro 2018/2021
Works with Apple Devices – The Crossery Thunderbolt 3 extension cable works with all major devices, including 2019-17 iMac/iMac Pro, MacBook Pro 2020-19, MacBook Air, ChromeBook Pixel, and Dell XPS 15. It is compatible with all except Arrow Devices
Doesn’t Break or Fray – This 1-meter Thunderbolt cable undergoes an 8000+ bend test, making it 10x sturdier than other Thunderbolt 3 safety cables. The built-in Crossery wrap for this 3.3 ft cable makes it easier to carry & store

Good basic cable, I’m not using in a permanent installation, cannot speak to heat or longevity.
Thunderbolt cables need to be good quality and well made to work well and not overheat or have intermittent failures. I’m only using this cable for an external drive that I connect sometimes. So far, it’s been fine. My previous experience with earlier thunderbolt cables wasn’t great, as I saw a high failure rate. That doesn’t mean this one has issues, just a warning to have extras and be careful. Thunderbolt cables have lot so of electronics in them, not just wires.

Perfect companion for thunderbolt dock.
This is a solid cable that is a perfect companion for my thunderbolt dock. The cable itself is well made and durable. I feel that for any cable to do its job right, it has to a bit more substantial to endure prolonged use. The connections are strong and each part of the cable has secure insulation that reassures me that the cable will hold up well in the long term. It’s been great for transferring data, running to my monitor and charging my multiple devices, especially my iPad Pro.

One Meter Cable for Thunderbolt 3 But Is It Apple?
I wanted to see how much faster one of my SSD drives would handle video both with and without a T3 cable. So, I ordered this cable and ran tests using the BlackMagic Software available on the Mac store. After running the test with the cable that came with the SSD and then with this Apple Thunderbolt 3 Cable for Mac there was a small difference with this cable being just a little bit faster. Whether that amount is significant I really cannot judge. It wouldn’t be significant to me but perhaps for others it might. In any event, this cable was faster, and much longer which IS significant for use to my needs, though I do worry about longevity since this cable is not braided, or otherwise protected, against breakage caused by repeated bending. However you care about the speed and length of this cable there is, also. some question as to whether it is or is not an “Apple cable.” While it is not Apple certified (it does not show the MFI certification) it does have the Thunderbolt mark on the connectors which can only be put on cables that are actually meet Thunderbolt criteria. I don’t know if the apple question is a distinction without a difference or not but hopefully the Thunderbolt insignia, plus the Intel certification, will put that issue to rest. Having said that the only real drawback I see is the failure to braid or otherwise protect this cable from bend related breakage. Because of that lack, which to me is the only question remaining, I rate this Apple Thunderbolt 3 Cable for Mac as a soft 4 star product which should be at least considered if you are in the market for a Thunderbolt cable.
