Can’t use it if you don;t have the right OS
This is a great drive. My problem was that I was stuck in a death loop of having a broken OEM drive and a version of MacOS that doesn’t support this new drive. So I couldn’t upgrade the OS, and I couldn’t make this work, even after days of effort. “You need this to get that. But you need THAT to get THIS!” Stupid Apple. I can’t understand why after all this time, they still make simple things difficult.But if you have the OS version they specify, this drive will work great. And you can’t beat the price.

I got this hard drive to install in a older computer and it fit perfectly and it definitely made huge improvement over the one that was installed.

WARNING: This Ram can crash your computer
Even though my computer said this Ram was operating okay, it keep causing my iMac to shut down.It took me like 4 months and many calls with Apple to isolate the problem. And after submitting my crash reports and computer log to Apple, did an Apple engineer diagnose my problem – it’s this Timetec Ram. I was instructed to remove it.

Not easy to install
It took a of searching on the Internet to finally make it work. I wanted to do a clean install on a fresh new SSD. I am very happy that Apple made this possible without even a USB boot drive. Everywhere I search all told me to use Command+R to load the original OS (Sierra for my Macbook), or Command+Alt+R to load the latest OS (Monterey at this writing). The first time when I did this, my Macbook could not detect the SSD with either method. I quickly returned and got a replacement (Thank you Amazon). On the second SSD, My Macbook was still unable to detect it with the Command+R method. When I tried the Command+Option+R method, it detected it! Except it still would not install until I used the Disk Utility to create a partition. All is good now? Not quite. The install utility complained there was no Internet connection. And it did not give me the option to connect to my WIFI. The Macbook does not have an Ethernet port. What now? Lucky for me, I just happened to have RJ45 to USB A Ethernet adapter. About 1.5 hours later, the Monterey OS was fully installed.Overall, I am quite happy with this.

Great price for a new SSD in my MacBook Air
I still use a 2014 MacBook Air 11â for travel because of its size and weight and I was running low on space with 128GB SSD. This new SSD installed easily and transferred all my files without any problems.

Snaps in perfectly for my 2019 iMac. I was able to use boot camp to play warzone with 100-120 FPS using the Radeon 570 pro and these ram sticks paired with the apple ram that the computer came with. 24gigs of ram made a night and day difference in term s of performance. I intend to buy another set of ram as soon as I can!

This was shipped very quickly after I ordered. I went with 2 RAMs of 8 GB each. My baseline RAM was 8 GB (2019 iMac). After installing these two, the iMac settings immediately showed a boost of total RAM to 24 GB so triple. Installation was super easy. Just lay your iMac flat on a soft surface like a towel or cloth, remove the power cord, and you will see a small switch. Use a paperclip etc., to press the switch to prop open the RAM cover, the instructions are shown in a picture on the cover. Follow them and install the two new RAMs (remember to always install in pairs as recommended by Apple). So after I put these in, I have now 2 RAMs of 4 GB is slots 1 and 3, and two RAMs of 8 gb each in slots 2 and 4. Within minutes, I knew the performance had improved significantly for everything e.g. using finder, safari for internet browsing, opening other apps. Everything is so much smoother. Also my Parallels windows works way better with this upgrade. I highly recommend this upgrade to anyone who feels they need an improved iMac performance. It is a super easy upgrade without the need for special tools or need for a tech to come in to install. And the price and shipping are pretty good. I recommend the Timetec brand as it has met my needs well.

I ordered to add to 8+8 Apple Memory Modules of my 2019 17″ iMac. Smooth installation. I put new 8 + 8 in slots 1 and 3, and used slot 2 and 4 for the original apple memory module. My mac now works with 32 GB memory without any issues.Quick delivery. Good quality so far.
