I donât understand why people say this product is for Macs only. I plugged this into a Dell laptop and it worked fine. Windows reads it as a regular 8gb of RAM and it improves the performance of the computer.

Functions well but costs a lot to install
If I’d known what a bear is was to install this in a 2017 small iMac, I might have passed. I had to pay a hundred bucks over my mac guy’s estimate to compensate him for the extra time. But that’s the fault of Apple’s design.

Need to spend some time configuring RAM into the slots (mid-2017 iMac)
Good:- It is pretty cheap, ~$80 for a 16GB stick is not bad!- Shipped on time, and was delivered as promised.Bad:- I already had a Crucial 16GB stick along with 2 4GB sticks that came with my iMac. I had to do a lot of trial and error (spent around 1.5 hours) to get my computer to work. Every time it was in the wrong configuration, I would hear the computer whizzing/starting up, but the screen would just stay blank. I finally got it to work in a specific configuration (crucial, timetec, apple_default_1, apple_default_2 from top slot to bottom). I am not sure if this would work for everyone though.

Compre 2 de 8gb c/u y ESTROPERON mi iMac …al dÃa de hoy jamas volvió a prender y sigue en servicio.
