my first mechanical keyboard had cherry mx brown switches and i’ve missed the tactile feeling of the keys. the sound is therapeutic. i’m glad that i’m in a living space again where i don’t need to worry about how loud my typing is xD

Great introduction to mechanical keyboards.
If you are someone on a budget and you are looking to get into the world of mechanical keyboards, then this is a decent starter option. While it might not have hotswappable switches, there are still some modifications that you can do to it. However, out of the box, the typing experience is already pretty good for a $30 keyboard. It is infinitely better than what you can get out of a cheap office membrane keyboard. I got the brown switches and they have that subtle but satisfying tactile bump at the end which lets you know when the key has registered. The sound is also pretty nice, although there is room for improvement if you modify the chassis yourself later on. The backlight is only blue and not RGB, but that is to be expected at this price point. There are still plenty of effects to choose from so you shouldn’t get bored any time soon and the blue is not very harsh on the eyes at night. I like that you can switch it from Windows mode to Mac mode in case you have devices for both like me. There are also some other hotkeys that you can play around with using the Fn key, but overall, this is a pretty nice keyboard for $30. Mechanical keyboards have come a long way and they are starting to get really good at all price ranges. This would be a huge step up for someone coming from a membrane office keyboard. Do keep in mind though that these are slightly louder and might not be suitable for someone with noise sensitive coworkers.

Came within expected time, earlier even! Quality is great, the lights work well, the keys feel nice to type on, and the 60% size of a normal keyboard is as expected! The different lighting modes is also very nice, and fun to change up.
