Quality laptop sleeve that looks well designed for protecting valuable devices
Fits my 10 year old MacBook perfectly width wise, with a little over an inch to spare in the height. I like the fabric, both the exterior which appears pretty heavy duty, and the super soft and padded interior. And I really like the bumpers. I have a laptop carrying bag, but wanted something to put my laptop in my suitcase when I’m traveling, and this slim but seems like very protective laptop sleeve should work well.

Compact pouch/sleeve that is minor bump protection with good corner bumpers
This is a small envelope with light padding. It’s got a thin close cell foam for the walls surrounded by a sturdy woven fabric and lined with a really soft fluffy lining that’d be nice in gloves or a hat. It has a single pouch out front that can hold some very thing things. The bulk this adds to the laptop is quite minor, and that sort of foam does wonders at reducing the impulse from an impact, reducing cracking or shattering from drops. That said, it’s soft and floppy, so provides next to nothing against compression or force, which also happen during drops, and it’s primary defense against sharp things is the outer fabric. This will prevent scuffs and such until it tears through, though. What I mean to say, then, summarized, is that this isn’t a vast protection against harm, but it’s a very simple and easy to use minor improvement in durability, so there’s little reason not to use it.In fact, if you get a hard case that fits the laptop, which is pretty much required to improve durability in compression, it will likely still fit if you nest them. This would likely improve the shock absorption further, too. It’s easy to insert and extract the laptop, at least if you keep the pouch empty or thinly filled. The corners really are built up quite well. I wish they’d made these stiff members a hair taller than they did, so as to shield the corners from a few more angles, but these will, as described on the product page, help preserve the integrity of the corners in quite a few directions. It’s comfortable and simple to use, so it’s not inconvenient to use and does add some protective value.Biggest improvements I’d suggest would be to heighten the stiff corner parts to occult the laptop a bit, while leaving the height of the pouch unchanged, which would require a little different design. Also, the pouch could stand to have a gusset or something to make it tend to poke away from the laptop as it gets lumpy and full. The foam helps protect it from getting poked, so this isn’t a huge deal to the laptop, it’s just not quite big enough to comfortably stash the power supply and charging cable. It will fit, just not as tidy as I’d prefer. Maybe a sturdy pouch overtop the pocket in there would be able to add that extra capacity. Something akin to this would make this nigh unto perfect for basic carrying and still fit a more rugged container for taking it more dangerous places.

beautifully made from recycled materials
Outstanding, well-designed laptop case. Fits a 14 inch Macbook Pro laptop snugly with protective corner cushions and an extra compartment for cables and smaller items. The case’s footprint is still manageable enough that it fits into my backpack just fine with the added dimensions.Made from recycled fabrics. Feels like it should be durable for the long haul.

Good corner protection
After a laptop spill going through airport security, I went looking for a laptop sleeve with a bit more protection than your usual one. Most might cover it, but offer very little to really nothing in the way or protection. The corners on this one seem to actually have some protective material in them. I still wouldn’t like to see my laptop hit the ground again, but at least this time it’ll have a better rate of survival.Other than that it’s fairly standard. Soft liner. Slim pocket for a few very small things.Though I always wish these would open on the end. I use backpacks, not messenger bags. On end open makes more sense to me.

Good fit for my new Dell
I have a new Dell laptop with a wide screen/keyboard. Cases for this size are not very common. This specific case is perfect fit in the width and about an inch short on the height or folded hinge side. The “corner armor” construction and overall padding is perfect protection. The outside pocket has a lot of room in it, but I wouldn’t want to put anything other than fairly flat items. This is the usual understated excellence from TOMTOC design and materials that I am used to in other products of theirs. Great value. Highly recommended
