This is a great phone…… except for the camera
I’ve never had a TCL phone before so I decided to give it a shot. Honestly this phone is super fast and the quick transfer between my old TracFone apps and information to this new TracFone was simple. I really like to this phone except for one important thing:PhotographyI love taking pictures of my cats, myself, my friends, and my family. I tried to do a deep dive into the camera settings such as the pro setting but still not that great. The flash is very funky. And the selfie camera is just sad.I wanted to keep this phone but I’m going to have to return it. I will, of course, do a factory reset first. But I just want to say I don’t think this is a bad phone. It’s very fast and it has a lot of memory which is nice if you’re an app person. It’s very responsive and you have the option of changing settings so if you prefer an arrow back button you can do that. Or if you prefer to swipe, you can change it to do that. The menu and the settings were really easy to navigate even though I had never used this brand of phone before. There’s also some wonderful settings for eye brightness/ blue light sensitivities which I do have. A really nice bonus is this phone does come with NFT. Some of the other newer phones that I looked at didn’t have this feature so I thought this was a very nice addition for a $99 phone. I do like TCL phones and would consider buying one in the future if they invested a little bit more in their cameras. I did take a couple of pictures with the macro setting of a little bug I found who didn’t mind doing a little modeling.
