Retro console
The console surprise me. I never thought about how good it is. Functional very responsive, good value not overpriced and most of all the build quality very premium. Now for the graphics is absolutely gorgeous on 4.9â screen. Very happy on my purchase.

Works great.
Easy to use and plenty of games. Wish all the games were in English but there’s plenty of fun to be had for the casual gamer.

I havenât figured out how to download games on it but with 12000 games Iâm sure Iâll find something. Itâs easy to use. The joysticks donât catch and itâs very compact and sleek. Iâm so happy that I purchased this.

Solid for PS1 and below
This is an awesome device, but I would hesitate to recommend it at the current price of $100. It can be found for much cheaper elsewhere. At $70, for instance, this is easily a five-star device.**Form Factor**It feels similar to a PSP/PS Vita, which is a good thing. I’ve used it for upwards of an hour without any discomfort. I’d characterize this device as “pocketable” â it’s small enough to fit in most of my pockets anyway.**Controls**The D-pad, joysticks and buttons are all on the smaller side. The biggest flaw is probably the joysticks, which are small, recessed, and not super accurate. Usually they are sufficient, but I’ve run into occasional issues when precision is needed, like some parts of Mario 64. All the buttons are clicky. This is not a quiet device to use at night, if you’re trying not to disturb your partner in bed.**User interface**TrimUI is not anything fancy, but it works well for navigating through different games. It offers pretty seamless save and load states on top of RetroArch. You’re basically limited to the emulators that come with RetroArch. The function key is a nice feature that you can program for different purposes. Oddly, I have to use this key for muting the device, as turning the volume all the way down does not take it down to zero.**Performance**I’ve found that this is powerful enough to run platforms up to N64 pretty well. Several of the included N64 games didn’t work though. PSP performance is very hit or miss. Playing God of War, for instance, things can get very choppy, even at 1x resolution.**Screen**This is probably the standout feature of the device. The screen is bright, crisp and big (for the form factor). I like that the older games come preconfigured with themed bezels, so the whole screen is used.

Great Handheld!
As a gamer I love having these options in modern times that you can have older games right in your handheld all together and that is priceless! The processor is powered by the A133P processor for responsive gaming performance. It is pretty snappy and works quick when selecting options on the menu and especially when playing the games on it.The operating system that this little handheld has is a linux-based OS designed for compatibility with a variety of retro game emulators. With linux you really have an open source OS and will be able to get almost any game on here with ease. The display is a 4.96-inch high-resolution screen that enhances the visual experience for retro games, it makes older games look nice and crispy! The colors are beautiful and vivid, the darks are deep and look fantastic! I love playing games in 720P it is so awesome and looks gorgeous! The storage supports up to 128GB with an SD card, so this will provide ample space for games and save files. The older games do not take as much space as the newer games now a days so do no worry about that.WiFi and multiplayer Supports WiFi connectivity for multiplayer online games and matches, so that is really nice and I use multiplayer a few times and it is so fun to play with others! Navigating the Linux-based system might be tricky for users unfamiliar with open-source platforms but just go on youtube and you will find everything you need! Once you start using it, you won’t go back! Once you figure out how to install the ROMS you will want every game out there! LOL

Feels nice in hand and comes ready to play
The layout of the console is comfortable and easy to use. It does run a little hotter than I would like, but itâs not terrible unless you charge and play at the same time. The RGB joysticks are very dim and I donât use them but the screen gets decently bright (enough indoor use). I get around 6 hours of battery life from the console, and I play at half brightness. The D-pad and buttons are clicky with a little bit of mush, they could be more distinct in their tactile response. The analog sticks are positioned well and resemble the analog stick on the 3DS/Vita. The 5-inch display is more than enough for the games included and it provides a good viewing experience. The screen size is just right in my opinion since it allows smaller text to be legible, without being so big it’s hard to travel with. The console is pre-loaded with games from different console generations. I will say that keeping the default settings will not give you the best performance, in DS games I disabled frame skip and the gameplay was immediately improved. This device is powerful enough to play most games at full speed, with only some exceptions needing frame skip.I think this device is good for those getting into emulation and wanting something better than a phone. This device has a good interface and emulating on it is much better than fiddling with touch controls on a phone. As with all emulators, settings can be changed to tailor for specific games and this device allows for that.Personally, I prefer the form factor of the RG35XX but that one lacks analog sticks. I think the Trimui is a good device and itâs perfect for just playing old-school games on the go.
