Time to replace my old UMIDIGI A9 Pro
I purchased this phone to replace my old UMIDIGI A9 Pro. Compared to the A9, this phone has a slightly larger screen and a longer battery life. It came nicely packaged like the A9 but with an US charger instead of an European. Camera is 50Mpx compared to 48Mpx. Storage is 128GB storage instead of 64GB. Video streaming was very smooth, sound quality was decent, and comes with the latest Android 13.What I didn’t like about the phone was the FM radio feature, it was barely functional but I don’t listen to the radio on my phones. I wished it came with a 3.5mm headphone jack like the A9, inconvenient if you use a wired headphone and needs to charge at the same time.

Rugged case, solid performance and 3 cameras
The mil-std rugged case is nice, but I still use another case protector for additional protection. Memory is 8 GB + additional 8 GB with added TF card. Storage of 128 GB is super. Performance can lag at times, but it is a 4G-technology product. Very pleased with this phone, overall. Use T-Mobile as carrier. Just be mindful that some others, such as Cricket, do not support this phone. Price was nice at around $160, and I am making payments.

Not worth it
Got this phone awhile back first problem is Bluetooth disconnects randomly and difficult to reconnect, it was running slow so I restarted it cause that usually helps and 30min goes by and still restarting (all within a week of ownership) I had to force restart just to get it to restart and come on and now it runs slow without wifi partially doesn’t let me do anything other than listen to music without being on Wi-Fi not sure if it claims to get 5g but it for sure doesn’t

Long battery life, big screen and storage, but performance is low-end
First and foremost, this phone is beautiful to look at. It’s got a tactical look and feel to it and just from the outside looks like a really high-end phone. It feels really nice in your hand and the screen is nice and bright. However, looks are only part of the equation for a phone. Below is a breakdown of each aspect of the phone.Camera: (from Pro and Portrait modes)1. 50 MP – Highest resolution but provides the least appealing picture. Soft and diluted.2. Pro – You can change settings and fine tune your camera app. Pretty good results for but web only.3. Portrait – Probably the best camera setting on the phone with the best image results.Note: low light is really grainy and bad. This phone is made for outdoors photography only. The pictures were taken mid morning with full sunlight to get a good picture.Gaming:Gaming on this phone is doable, but your gameplay will be subpar. The graphics on this phone are underwhelming and gameplay is choppy on almost all games. On Madden Mobile, compared to the iPhone I have, the performance is about 50% of what the iPhone can do (less detailed models, choppy framerates, and lots of screen hanging). You can play games like solitaire or other less intense games and it will be fine, but don’t expect any newer games to run well.Video playback:This was the biggest disappointment for me. Playing back videos on YouTube was limited to 1080p in Fullscreen. Anything higher than that and the phone would hang and struggle to play the video. The smoothest playback is 480p, but that’s SD quality. Watching anything 4k on the phone results in laggy/stuttering performance from Netflix to Amazon Prime video.At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. If I was looking for a cheaper phone with a big screen, I might look at this device. But if I wanted to play a little game, watch a little video, or do some work on my phone, I would not use this device. It’s nice to look at, but there’s a big performance dip.Note: Phone does not get hot under heavy use, so that’s a major plus.

Phone is definitely decent for price. Small amount of processing lag but overall good value. Camera is average. The switch over from my older iPhone worked well. The built in case is robust. I bought this phone for work as my iPhone was acting up. and found that it would not fully connect on my carrier(public mobile/telus). I bought a lucky sim to try it and it worked on lucky mobile. I just didnât really want to run two carriers and two phones I still prefer IPhone but for a budget android the phone itself seemed definitely worthwhile. I returned phone. They received it over a week ago still waiting for refund.
