Just what I needed
I primarily use my iPad with a Magic Keyboard indoors. But sometimes I take it out to the field for taking notes and referencing PDF documents. For that I need a case that surrounds the sides, protects the back, and has a hand loop. I also need a case that is not difficult to take on or off since I will be transferring it between the two cases frequently.When I upgraded to the new M4 11â Pro I was worried Iâd have trouble finding a case similar to the one I used with my old Pro. Thankfully, this was recently released and fits the bill perfectly. It has high build quality, is easy to put on and take off, and provides just the right level of protection and security I need. The hand loop is comfortable.Note this is not a heavy duty case. It is a medium duty case. There is no screen protector. But I specifically didnât want all that bulk. My field use is pretty low risk.If your use case is like mine, or even if you just use it around the house and want a hand loop and pencil clip, this is a great choice.

I wanted to like this but it was too flimsy for what I am used to with UAG cases. I was expecting a more robust and better protection case. The generic cases provide better protection and also have the palm strap which was main reason I wanted the UAG.

Does NOT work with auto wake/sleep function
I have used these cases for several generations of ipad, and always found them to be the perfect balance of minimalistic but protective. This is still true with this new model for the 2024 M4 IPad PRO.However, despite it saying (on the product box – as well as previously in the product description on Amazon) that it supports auto wake/sleep, it does not.I returned and replaced my original order on the assumption that it was simply defective. The replacement also has the same issue. I am now using a less protective folio from apple (works perfectly).If the auto wake/sleep function is important to you, I would recommend against purchasing this. If not, then it’s still a perfectly good case.

Es cierto todo lo que mencionan en las otras reseñas, es cierto que la tapa no apaga la pantalla pero tienes un boton que soluciona el problema, es cierto que levanta las orillas de la mica que tienes puesta. Update July26/24. Dealing with UAG support through Amazon has been excellent. They have replaced my defective case & the new one arrived today. It’s working as expected.I have used UAG products for years & been very happy until now. The auto lock & unlock feature that is advertised (& has always worked for other iPad UAG cases) does NOT work. iPad checked by Apple Store & their Apple Folio case works with the auto lock feature, so does the Otterbox. The iPad is fine. Problem is that the other cases sold at Apple Store are not rugged & protective like UAG. I’m very disappointed.

After purchasing the Apple folio case which was hugely uncomfortable to use handheld, this is a joy to use. It is not as well made as the Apple case, but has many added benefits including the pencil holder and all round protection which adds to the comfort when hand holding. The stand is functional rather than slick. It is however very good value and fits extremely well.
