I’ve tried four other brands and designs of laptop stands, and they all broke or were too clunky.
While the images aren’t the clearest, what IS clear is how it’s holding up the beast that is the Dell Precision. Most stands I’ve used have broken or have loosened to the point where holding a laptop up is just not possible.First off, this thing is SOLID. It’s small, efficient, incredibly tough, lightweight, and extremely portable when folded flat. I’ve paid A LOT more for quality that was A LOT less. I never give 5-star reviews because that would imply that something is flawless, and nothing is.However, if I HAD to choose a drawback to this, it would probably be that it is requires some effort to adjust the frame to your ideal height. That could be also be considered positive in the sense that it shows how secure it is.It also has little rubber pads on the bottom and surface area to prevent skid, which is a plus.

You can adjust your laptop to several different angles. It always keeps my laptop cool on less than ideal surfaces. I have a new gaming laptop with better fans that can do just fine in the table, but always good to be precocious. And an old 2016 gaming laptop that was great for the time but is now a potato, that laptop would over heat all the time when on the coach or table, but with this it is just fine

Works for my large 17″ laptop but I have to be careful when changing the angle. Laptop will slip off, for that I gave it four stars. With my 15″ works great – 5 stars. Mainly bought to get the camera on my laptop into the most flattering angle for zoom meetings. And for that it is perfect! You really have to work to change positions but that makes it very sturdy.
