Excellent addition to the iMacs
Many of us still have the older USB connections on our computer accessories and this little marvel makes those machines with only 2 ports on the newer iMacs, expand to 4 per port if you still use the older USB connections. In our case, this system worked like a charm. We hooked up older peripherals and they work just like new. It is better than replacing complete accessories each time you upgrade a computer. In our case we use these on our iMacs without problems. Just something to kick around if you decide to expand your system to needed existing accessories.

Solid hub
As a person whose computer has only USB-C ports, and owns a lot of USB-A storage devices, I sometimes need to be able to plug in multiple devices. I’ve had the best results with the Syntech hub, which has four USB-A ports that can be plugged into a single USB-C port. And if you have a USB-A port on your computer or other devices, it comes with an adaptor that allows it to plug in to that.I’ve had good overall experiences with Syntech – I’ve bought multiple hubs and adaptors from them, and each one has been satisfactory and long-lasting. If you’re wondering why I’ve bought more than one, it’s because I keep losing them.Problems? Occasionally a flash drive plugged into one of the ports won’t show up. Just take it out, blow some compressed air on the drive and ports, and try plugging it in again. If that doesn’t work, try another port.

I have a computer with USB-C but lots of devices with non USB-C connections and lots cables with USB-A ends. I needed a solution to connect those devices to my computer and found the USB four port hub. The device was not as heavy as I expected and the bulk of it is a hollow piece of plastic. The advantage to that is that it won’t get misplaced but the disadvantage is it almost feels cheap and it will take up bulk when I travel. The hub works well but I’ve not yet tested large data transfers yet to see if it holds up to the capacity of my devices ports and capability.The description didn’t specify that a female USB-C to Male USB-A adapter was included but the product picture showed it. I’m pleased to say that it did come.with that adapter which would have almost cost as much as the hub itself did from many sellers. I may actually end up using the adapter more than the hub.Overall, I think a good purchase and look forward to using this more in the days ahead.

Cumplen perfectamente. Si cómo yo tienes un ordenador con pocos o ningún puerto USB normal, con este adaptador, tienes 4 puertos USB. Yo en mi caso tengo un Macbook pro con los nuevos puertos usb C y como lo utilizo en casa con otra pantalla y teclado y ratón externos (pero más antiguos), los puedo conectar fácilmente.
