Very solid phone mount
I had been looking at various mounts for my iPhone XR for a long time. I finally settled on this mount, and I can say that I am very pleased with the results. The mount is very well made, and is very solid. The suction cup is very strong.I initially tried this as a window mounted configuration, and when I tried to remove the suction cup, it took me several tries to actually get it off. The cup does have a sticky substance on it that helps hold the mount in place for longer amounts of time. Just beware that the sticky solution can wear off if you move it around a lot. I ended up going with a dashboard mounted configuration, as the unit comes with a flat pad so that the suction cup can be mounted on the dashboard in case it’s a bumpy surface, like most dashboards.The mount is easy to manipulate if you want to change from portrait to landscape for map/gps applications. Just make sure not to tighten the ball mount on the back too tightly, or it will be hard to move. The mount is also well padded at points where it contacts the phone, and the holders on the mount extend to a very wide with for larger phones. It holds my iPhone XR, with my OtterBox Symmetry case, very securely with plenty of room to spare for larger phone models.I like that the mount has a release button on the side to expand the mount clamps when you want to remove your phone. The button can be hard to find, depending on where you have the mount, so be sure to leave some room to push the button so you can easily remove your phone when needed.All in all, a great product for the price. I would not hesitate to suggest this mount as a great option for your vehicle.

Zunächst war ich aufgrund des Preises etwas Skeptisch, habe aber aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen einen Halter für meinen VW Touran bestellt. Ich nutze ein iPhone 15 Pro Max, damit kam der alte Halter aufgrund des Gewichts nicht klar. Der neue Halter lieà sich problemlos in den Lüftungsschlitzen instalieren und lässt sich sehr gut anziehen, das Handy sitzt jetzt sicher und ohne abknicken des Halters. Wir haben noch einen zweiten Halter für den Touran der Schwiegereltern gekauft, auch diese sind super zufrieden. Insegsamt eine super Sache für den Preis!
