Great curved monitor for my work from home office – love the resolution

Great gaming monitor
I use the monitor for AutoCAD home office. No need for audio, which is good because the speakers aren’t as good as a 9V transistor radio I had in the ‘60s. Stand is good but the back mount IS fragile, again not a problem. I missed a USB port. Comes with a gaming (I assume) cable, had to supply my own HDMI. Does have 2 HDMI ports. I’m actually very happy with it, it’s just ‘not perfect’.

Incredibly weak engineering design for the stand/panel connection.
I can not emphasize this enough – BE INCREDIBLY CAREFUL – more than you have ever been on any monitor before, when you connect the panel to the stand. The seemingly oversimplified connection is very weak and in my case, although it ‘seemed’ like it was connected, it wasn’t. I’ve probably used a dozen gaming monitors over the last 12 years and this by far has the worst connection to the stand I’ve ever seen. The panel itself is ok, 1440p gaming for a good price, now that 240hz is becoming the norm – but dear lord – the panel will pop right off the stand just connecting an hdmi cable if the connection isn’t secure, and that was the problem, it was, but can still come loose very easily. I don’t know if this was a isolated manufacturer defect, or if it’s just plain bad cheap design, but even the slight bump off the stand, it completely destroyed the panel, which brings me to my second biggest problem, the panel is so weak and flimsy, be extremely careful. Two hundred dollars burnt up very quickly.

The monitor is primarily a 2k 144hz monitor but it can also do up to 4k 60hz. Clean and crisp picture that is a far cry from my LG 144hz 5ms VA panel. And the veiw sonic cost me almost $100 less then I paid a couple years ago for the LG. Worth every penny!!!
