Really good value gaming monitor
(Review pertains to the 1080p 27″ Model)Pros:- Easy assembly- Above average build quality- Screen looks very good- Response rate it great- Comes with a DP cable- Has physical buttons (personal preference)Cons:- The assembly technically requires a screwdriver (I ended up using a metal creditcard as I don’t currently have tools)- The speakers suck (monitor speakers almost always are)- It does- Does not come with an HDMI cable- It is very bright (negative for certain use cases)

Good
Very good monitor for the price I like the adjustability and the tilt and the tall stand looks better then my old LG 2k monitor I was not sure about the brand but they seem to make decent gaming monitors for a good price high refresh rate as well and free sync if u got an AMD card .works good on the Xbox series X does 2k at 120FPs all in all solid display for the price .

Bought for travel. Good performance, low brightness, minor light bleed and viewing angle issues.
Fast, low ghosting, meh brightness/colors. Bought to game while traveling. Cheap enough that I won’t care if it’s damaged, good enough that I don’t regret the purchase. Does what I need it to do and it does it well. Not comparable to a several hundred dollar monitor, but beyond capable for modern console gaming.A little light bleed on the edges, and the viewing angle isn’t quite as wide as I’d like. That being said, these issues aren’t noticeable to me while gaming.I like it. It has met or exceeded all the expectations I had for a $100~ monitor.

Gorgeous…but a little too much motion blur in games
This is the best HDR monitor I’ve ever seenâ and the .5 ms and 185 Hz are crazy fast. BUT, I could still notice out of the corner of my eye every once in awhile, especially in FPS and action games, motion blur around the outer edges of the monitor and it was just a little too distracting and would take me out of the moment. Turning on software motion blur in games actually masked the monitor’s motion blur fairly wellâ but I hate any motion blur at all. It makes me sick. I ended up returning it to get a monitor with a black frame/strobing function. It’s a shame because I REALLY liked this monitor and I think for most people it’d be a great entry level gaming option. The colors and quality of it make your games POP.

Huge value!
Love these monitors! The colors, vibrancy and refresh rate are so good. The price for performance is out of this world.I would highly recommend these if you do gaming and work at the same time. I run mine at 144Hz through HDMI and I absolutely love them.

Display is cooked after a year
I’ve had two viewsonic monitors counting this one. The first had permanent display issues after 6 months. A little over a year later, this monitor now has the same issue as of today. It’s not a cord or hardware problem, all of their monitors are poor quality and guaranteed to fail sooner rather than later. Avoid this company.

$/Performance “fire emoji” “fire emoji” “fire emoji”
This has to be one of the most bang for your buck panel in 2024. The ufo test wasn’t the best I have seen but definitely not the worst. Speakers are pretty bad but you’re not buying this for the sound. Solid buy.

Quality screen, no issues.
Quality monitor, no issues, no broken pixels. Latency is excellent.Freesync/gsync mode, MPRT (ULMB/ELMB mode) work as expected, note they don’t work together just so you know. The “view mode” presets aren’t great. FPS mode makes darks too dark, brights too bright makes visiblity worse. RTS/Moba presets enables auto dimming and is too sharp.Stick to Standard mode and manually set response time to ultra fast, set black stabilization between 50-100 for visibility, and enable “overclocking” for 180Hz. This monitor has “HDR” but I have not used the HDR until today (things are looking decent with Windows11 and AutoHDR after calibration, more testing is needed, FH5 looks excellent with real HDR). Simple WHQL drivers are available online from viewsonic.Stand is sturdy metal though a bit too large, I have it raised up on a small box to keep it out of the way until I get a vesa mount for it.

This is a good monitor. Sadly I had to return it because it was damaged with shipping. Make sure to check the box properly the front panel doesn’t have much foam protecting it from impacts.Panel had a scratch because of that and a few dead pixels on that location. Tested the monitor for a day and its a good monitor for the price. I hoped for the LG 4K 27UL550 instead since this is for work and not gaming. One downside on the Viewsonic is the OSD is pretty terrible and the buttons on the bottom right of the screen aren’t the best.

Using it for past 6 months, very very awesome purchase, also my first purchase for my gaming pc component list,Used for long gaming sessions, movies, web, manga, anime, it doesn’t disappoint at all, best settings, have multiple modes, my eyes did not experience any strain, even after six hours of continuous use.The screen size improved my gaming experienced from my laptop,Don’t go the pictures I uploaded; coz these are due poor camera in night. It’s a must buy for Budget non budget gamers, or simple use,Don’t go for the 10k 12k ones this is the best,Getting 27 inch 180 hz for 15k only, Just go for it.

The monitor is all good but the Speakers are just not really tuned i guess. Using an Equalizer i got them to sound way better. Another thing to note would be background bleed but that is hardly a problem while gaming, but maybe don’t use it to watch horror movies.
