Great monitor for the money
Nice and bright and clear and crisp, for the $$$ this is great! I use it for my job which is NOT gaming, but for what I wanted this is perfect.

Great value, picture quality awesome for the price
Had a 27″ monitor several years old that was acting like the backlight was ready to fail. It wasn’t worth fixing, so I went out and bought a 32″ LG Ultragear monitor. I noticed right away that the picture was off. Even though I was running it at 4K, it looked fuzzy, like the output of my video card was 720 upscaled or something like that. The LG had a matte coating on the screen that is supposed to reduce glare. I thought I’d get used to it. But the longer I used it, the more I hated it. It was too late to return the LG, but I had to replace it. When I realized I was going to buy another new monitor, it happened to be Black Friday. (good timing) I obviously browsed the monitor specials and found a few really inexpensive monitors.One that caught my eye was Viotek NFI29CB 29-Inch Ultrawide. I read reviews and tried to figure out if it was matte finish or not. (For those who are wondering, it is not) I couldn’t really get definitive answer. But the price was low enough, I took a chance.Unboxing and set-up:It was delivered in a box from Amazon large enough for a small refrigerator. The outer box was so huge it barely fit in the back seat of a Nissan Maxima, and filled that entire area. Why? I don’t know. It was obviously double-boxed. At least it arrived undamaged. The inner box, the actual monitor box was smaller than I thought it would be. And the monitor itself is much thinner than I thought it would be.First you must assemble a stand. There is a pole that screws onto the base. Only, the screws are loose in a big bag. For a while, I thought that the factory had forgotten to include the base screws. Be careful unpacking this monitor, or you will lose the two tiny screws for the base. And the screws are tiny. Worse, the pre-drilled holes for the tiny screws are easy to strip. I stripped one of them accidentally. Oh well. After mount is assembled, it slides up into the bottom of the monitor screen. Done. In the box is also a power cord (regular PC type power cord) a power supply (100-240V) and a 4 foot long displayport cable. I didnot use the included displayport cable, as I already had a much longer one hooked up to my computer.The stand is not height adjustable and does not rotate either horizontal or vertical. It will allow the monitor to tilt up and down a bit. That is all.Adjusting display quality:The power button and menu button (same button) are on the back of the monitor. When I first turned it on, I was deliberately looking for that “matte” effect, and was relieved to NOT see it. If I examine it closely, it appears it might have some kind of anti-glare coating, but it’s not heavy enough to distort the picture and make it look out of focus. (like the LG)The factory settings for picture quality are off a bit. It’s not horrible looking, but can definitely be improved. Color temperature is way too “cool” and brightness is off the charts, for example, as set up at the factory. Oh, and I should mention that this is a 60Hz monitor, although I believe it was advertised as 75Hz. I won’t deduct stars for that, though it is misleading. That is a feature that really doesn’t matter to me.If you want to know how to do a quick job of adjusting the display properly to look pretty close to the way it should look, do this:In the OSD menu (hit button on back of monitor)- Set Color Temp to “warm”- Set Brightness (black level) to “10”- Set Contrast (white, in relation to black) to “90”Those settings by eyeball are pretty close. I’ve been working with electronics since the 80s with much experience in TV color calibration, so my eyes can get a monitor adjusted pretty quick.In use:I’m not a gamer. But just about all good hardware will be geared toward gaming, as that’s where the money is. Call any monitor a “gaming” monitor and it will sell better. I think this monitor would work fine for gaming unless you have a $3000 video card that you are running at extreme FPS and detail settings. But if the rest of your hardware is that high-end, I can’t imagine why a cheaper monitor like this would catch your eye.I use this monitor for office work, watching movies and of course Internet use. I’m VERY impressed with the picture quality of this monitor, especially for office work. I have seen better picture quality on other monitors. But those “other” monitors cost at least 3X as much as what I paid for this Viotek 29″ ultrawide monitor.Summary:If your budget is on the lower end, I think you will be more than happy with this monitor. Just be careful assembling it…don’t over-tighten the teeny tiny screws in the base.

Best Monitor out there !
I bought 3 Viotek’s in 2019. In 2024 one fell over while living on a sailboat. The other I accidently blew up plugging in the wrong power supply on the boat. These things are damn near impossible to break and last forever. I got lucky and bought 1 replacement monitor last September 2024 before they sold out and have been kicking myself for not buying 2. I just found this 5th one in January 2025. If you are reading this review BUY it NOW before they sell out again they wont last long !

Realmente quede impresionado con este monitor. En un principio estaba dudoso de adquirir este en especifico, yo buscaba un monitor 1440p, con una tasa de refresco mayor a 60Hz, con una buena gama y representación de colores, pero al final me decidí por este monitor por su precio bajo. En conclusión este monitor Viotek FI24D es un muy buen monitor, representación de colores decente (de fabrica vienen un poco lavados y con tonos de negros poco profundos, pero al configurarlo puedes obtener algo bien), tecnología IPS, tasa de refrescamiento de 75Hz, tiene Freesync, la calidad de construcción podría decir que no es mala, precio increíble y sin errores de fábrica hasta el momento, en fin, al adquirir este producto no tienes nada que envidiarle a un monitor 1440p de marca reconocida y de mayor costo, claro relacionando las características que te ofrece este monitor.
