Useful instant Shelf!
This is a near instant way to add a useful shelf! I am using it on my small RV and it serves as a little table for snacks, drinks, laptop or tools that can be quickly moved to where needed. I noticed a similar much higher priced one that could hold quite a bit more weight – – so, as an experiment I made a quick modification to this one by attaching a super-strong hard disk rare earth magnet. This really increases the weight capacity a lot! Most will probably not need this, however.

Seams like you need a course surface for this to not slide down when youâve rested heavy items on it. Itâs really helpful otherwise. Great value if you have an ideal surface to put it on.

I guess you get what you pay for. Like others have said its cheaply made and the magnets aren’t that strong. This is being returned.

Definitely not worth the money
It’s made of cheap lightweight plastic and the magnets aren’t very strong. I’m very disappointed in the quality of this shelf as compared to its price, it’s worth MAYBE $20, you should be able to buy 4 of these for $75. I’m sending it back

Great on the right surface.
This thing works exceptionally well, and the magnets are very strong, however it requires contact with a heavy duty steel surface. It will NOT work on your fridge. I have it attached to steel pegboards and it is solid as a rock, and difficult to remove. If you have trouble with it sliding, the problem isn’t the magnets, it is where you are using it.

Works. Just FYI the top magnet that holds the cover close, might interfere with your laptop. I have a TinkPad X1, magnet reaches the camera. If you get close , the autorotate turns on and disables my keyboard.

Price is great compared to similar products I’ve used. Table portion is longer than some others too. I would have liked some scratch protectors to go over the magnets. The hinge pins also slipped out too easily so I’ll have to put removable stop insert to prevent it. A carry bag would also be nice if it was included but should fit in large laptop bag. I would not expect to use for anything other than laptop
