The VTech DS6151-11 + (3) DS6101-11 Bundle Telephone System consists of cordless deskset and 3 wireless accessory handsets. The handset and base consists of speakerphones that allow the user to talk and listen without holding the handset. This system has 50 name and number phonebook directory which offers to easily store and dial frequently called numbers. It is a two line operation that allows the user to dial and receive calls on two different phone lines with a single phone. This energy star qualified phone system has a digital answering system with a dedicated mailbox for each line.

Great phone if youâre a boomer and hate technology
As a boomer, I find it more convenient to use a land line than a smart phone. First of all, itâs limited to my house and it can only be used for phone calls, second of all the Voicemail menu system is outdated and hard to use, which is the perfect amount of technology for my boring life

Good phone, software could be better
This phone is good, works as expected, but the software could be better. My old Radio Shack phone had useful features that this model lacks. There is no flashing light on the handset to indicate a voice message has been left; itâs necessary to check the base or a handset. There is no ability to block junk callers. Ringers must be muted separately on each handset and the base, which sounds like a feature unless you want to do this before turning in every night. Customer service is very good. I had questions at first and needed to replace a defective handset. Both issues were handled promptly and with courtesy.

Can never receive voicemails properly/terrible sound quality
We have two lines in our office, and we have three handsets hooked up for use around the office.They worked for about two days before having a terrible static every time you answer the phone.The voicemails go to two separate voicemail boxes which do not notify you until the mail box is full and then im catching up on old old messages that go back as far as week. Terrible phones if you are trying to run a business.

Doesn’t Always Work
We have had this cordless setup before but we had a different brand. We tried Vtech because Panasonic was not available with the number of handsets we need. Too bad.The main problem is that we can pick up a phone from a charging stand to answer a call or to make an outgoing call, and the message is “out of range,” “need charging” and these are not accurate messages. This problem can happen intermittently on all battery-charged satellite phones, not on the Base phone which is plugged into an outlet. Thus, we miss calls and cannot make outgoing calls. I tried to return it but the Amazon message was is that this item is not eligible for return. We found the only way we can get the phone(s) to work is when we pull the battery out and put it back which, of course, disables us from answering the phone or making an outgoing call . Our previous Panasonic was set up in the same venue.
