Love it
Spent a lot of time searching. Glad I decided on this one. Didn’t want it to stick out too far. Also concerned how well it would clip onto the vent and stay on. Quick answer, really well, but with a caveat. My vents slats are fairly thick and deep, so the little lip wouldn’t reach over the slat to lock it on. The car is a new 2023 Sportage. So, I used two small loops of electrical tape, one on top and bottom and twisted it tight on that. Really locked it in solid, no sliding around. The little flat part above the clip part works well to lock it in as well. It’s plastic so I don’t think it would scratch, but I put a small piece of electrical tape over the bottom edge to protect the plastic metallic part of the dash. I like the design of the the vent clip design, better than others I’ve tried. The twist works well, feels really tight and locked in place. The way it opens and closes is really cool, and charges well. Just to note the wire you see by the clip is just the cord to my dash cam. Hope the review helps someone decide.

This Phone Mount is the Real Deal (Avoid the Frustration of My Previous One!)
I finally found the perfect phone mount for my car, and let me tell you, it fixes all the problems I had with my last one! Here’s why this mount is a winner:Secure Grip: My old mount’s flimsy arms wouldn’t hold my phone securely. This one has powered brackets that cradle the phone from the bottom and sides, perfectly fitting its shape. No more worrying about drops!Smart Auto Open/Close: My previous mount would stay clamped shut if I forgot to remove my phone before turning off the car. This one has a built-in capacitor that keeps the powered arms open for a while even after losing power. Plus, it automatically closes around your phone when you start the car â genius and so convenient! The motor is smooth and quiet too.Fast Charging: Unlike my last mount, this one charges my phone at full speed, even with a case on. On a recent drive with navigation running, it actually charged my phone by 15%!Super Secure Vent Clip: The vent mount on this one is top-notch. It has two secure padded jaws that tighten with a screw mechanism. It’s rock-solid and hasn’t budged since I installed it. Even better, it won’t damage my car’s vent louvers like my flimsy old mount did.Overall, this phone mount gets an A+! It’s well worth the price and a huge improvement over my previous mount. I highly recommend it!

Great Charger
Overall it is a great charger. My one complaint is that the configuration of my dash board and vents is not the most optimal, but that isnât the fault of this charger. ( I drive an Ridgeline). Didnât give it 5 stars on durability because I have only had it for a week so I really have no idea. Overall it is a goody, and works well.

Does everything well! So much better than my last one …
This is the one! Do not get anything else. It answers all the problems and shortcomings illuminated by my last powered, vent-mount phone holder:1) The previous one didn’t hold the phone well because the arms were mounted to the bottom of the unit and pinched in like a set of tongs. Minimal security. This one has powered supports that come up from the bottom, and in from the sides, parallel — as in, square, which is the shape of your phone. Holds the phone securely.2) The previous one didn’t open if you forgot to take the phone out of the holder before you turn your car off. This one actually has a capacitor inside that keeps the powered arms functioning for quite a time after it loses power, so you push the button and it opens up. It also closes on your phone after you start the car and the unit receives power. Automatic and intuitive. And the motor is very smooth and almost silent.3) The previous one did not charge the phone on high charge rate when in the holder. My phone has a plastic cover on it, just like your phone and everyone else’s. This one charges at full rate — in a 45-minute drive using a navigation app with the screen on the whole time, it charged 12% positive.4) The vent mount on this one is VERY SECURE. There are two thin, cushioned jaws that operate parallel to each other and are held secure by a screwed-on mechanism. It’s infinitely more secure than my last one. It hasn’t moved a millimeter since I installed it. And it’s better for the car — there’s no wear on the vent louvers from an unsecured vent mount.Overall, it’s an A+!! And, at the price I paid, an extremely good value. All told, a very, very good product.

Works well on Pixel phone
Got this cause Pixel phones charging port never works. Does like 5 percent in 20 min. At least my phone wont die when traveling long distance.

After six months of daily use in my Audi Q5, I can confidently say that the MOKPR Car Phone Holder Wireless Charger is an excellent addition to my vehicle. This device has consistently impressed me with its functionality and reliability. The auto-clamping feature is a standout. The arms detect my phone quickly and close securely, ensuring my device stays put even on bumpy roads. The 15W wireless charging is efficient, keeping my phone powered up during both short commutes and longer journeys.Installation was straightforward, and the air vent mount feels sturdy and well-designed. It hasn’t shown any signs of wear or loosening, even after half a year of regular use.One interesting feature is that the holder opens up automatically about 5 seconds after the car starts. While this is generally convenient, I would prefer if it stayed open when the car is switched off. It’s a minor quirk that doesn’t detract from the overall performance but could be an improvement point for future models.A surprising bonus is that the holder seems to have some kind of internal battery. Even with the USB cord unplugged, it can operate a few times, which can be handy in certain situations. The charging speed is impressive, and I’ve had no issues with overheating or inconsistent charging. It works well with my phone case, eliminating the need to remove it for charging.Pros:Reliable auto-clamping mechanismFast 15W wireless chargingSturdy air vent mountWorks well with phone casesInternal battery for cord-free operationCons:Automatically closes when car is off (minor inconvenience)Overall, the MOKPR Car Phone Holder Wireless Charger has significantly improved my driving experience in the Audi Q5. It’s a high-quality, well-designed product that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable car phone mount with wireless charging capabilities.

Good charger fits my car ok and the design allows me to manover screen to most positions, build quality seems ok as I have to have the nut on the back really tight as I drive on bumpy tracks , seems to charge my phone quite fast so all good ð

A very convienient device for charging your phone while in a vehicle. Easy to use and set up too. My only small gripe is on a very rare occasion the device doesn’t open or respond even though it is plugged in with power. I checked to see if it was too hot and it was fine. Not sure what the problem is, but as I mentioned, it’s very, very rare. Worth buying.

Really good piece of equipment. Works really well especially when used with the fast charger plug. Easy to install and looks ok in the car. I like the way it also automatically opens and clamps shut on your phone. Past holders have always never held the phone as well.

Used in an old Audi A4 with an iPhone X.I bought this for a number of reasons. Firstly I needed somewhere to hold the phone when it’s used as a sat nav, secondly I wanted to be able to play music while driving without flattening the phone battery and finally the wired charge port on my creaky iPhone is dodgy, so the wireless charging was an obvious solution. It’s great. All the mobile holders I’ve used in the past either had failed sucker pads that fell off the windscreen, held onto the vent grilles with the grip of an arthritic snowman, or if those two points held up, failed at the knuckle joint. This, so far a least, does none of those. It attaches firmly to the vent grille & holds the phone very steadily.(I’d suggest slackening the nut to find the best position & then tightening it, rather than forcing the knuckle to move under tension, but to be fair I think it would stand a small amount of repositioning even with the nut fairly tight). The cradle needs to be powered up when inserting the phone, it then senses it & clamps it firmly, much to my son’s delight. to release the phone, just requires a button press.I assume this is due to the cradle recognising the phone’s charging coil, but it can also be operated manually by pressing the buttons.I can’t comment on the power output of the charger, but if (my) phone is reasonably charged to begin with, it functions without draining the battery.Whether it produces enough energy to charge the phone & run it at the same time, I’m unsure, as the longest run I’ve done since installation is about 30 minutes. This of course will also depend on your phone’s specifics & what it’s doing whilst in the cradle. As always, time is the big tester, but initial impressions are very good.
