Only reason is 4 stars is because it can’t rotate when fold is open i guess due to weight of screen is to much not being centered like when folded but seems to be made well wish came with a dash or window mount option but vent one holds well just blocks vent and also kinda close to steering wheel

This is a review from an honest consumer and his three weeks of experience with this product. I used this product for my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 phone.Initially I purchased this then returned it after a few weeks because it kept falling off the vents which was infuriating. No matter how hard I torqued it to squeeze the vent blades, it always ended up on my floor. After I returned it I went through a few more similar products and none of them could properly grip my phone in the cradle which left me desperate so I re-read the description for this and apparently there’s an accessory that will hook the vent blade to keep it from slipping out. I did not notice this piece the first time I bought it so I figured I’d give it another go. Here are my results:Pros:1. Since using the vent hook it has done the job to perfection. No more falling out.2. When this mount grabs my phone it does it very securely unlike the other products I tried. It’s very snug and seems like it was built with my particular phone model in mind.3. Wireless charging works everytime without fail. It has a decent charge rate and when I have my phone in there it’s always on using the Waze app. Even with that running and my screen never going black it still has a charge that fuels the phone more than it’s using.Cons:1. The auto-rotating feature is unreliable. While it rotates just fine from landscape to portrait mode, it fails miserably at rotating back to its natural position (portrait to landscape.) Each time I have to assist the cradle back and when doing so I can feel it “grind” on the motor which has me concerned about the longevity this product has in its lifespan. This alone has caused me to knock 2 stars off my review because I can’t fathom paying $50 for this charger every couple of months.Bottom line:If you will not need to rotate this device then it’s a fine gimmick for your wireless charging needs. Due to the lack of any other acceptable options it’s glaring downfall may be one that may have to be overlooked.

This model stays secure in the vent without coming loose and without flipping back and forth with every turn you make. It comes with multiple options for mounting so if the vent doesn’t work for you, there are several other options available.Everything you need is in the box. You can connect it directly to any USB or USB C plug in your vehicle or use the plug that goes into the lighter/power port that provides a USB and USB C plug for the unit to plug into, the cord is included. Once it’s plugged in, your phone needs no cord because it’s charged wirelessly every time you place it into the holder. This model also holds most of the phone models listed very securely, even with an Otterbox on the phone. My Samsung S24 has an Otterbox Commuter Case on it and the phone sits secure in the stand and charges without any issues.I am extremely pleased with this item and would definitely recommend it.
