Works Great with My Dell Latitude 5490 Max Audio Pro app!
These are amazing headphones! Now, one caveat: You cannot use Bluetooth and get the amazing audio enhancements of the “Max Audio Pro” app that came on my Dell Latitude 5490 Laptop (Windows 10). You have to plug them into the audio jack, but that’s one of the things I love about this headset: It works with Bluetooth devices, or as a USB wireless connection, or as a hard line Plug in with it’s cable. I use the Bluetooth with my Smart phone and they sound amazing (cordless)! Great bass response, rich mids, and clear highs. Highly rec’d!

It’s been a long time since I’ve had headphones able to hurt my ears. This gets up to very high volumes and overall it’s wonderful from the lowest volumes to about 90%. At the peak though it seems to get distorted or something. The sound seems tuned for treble and hissy sounds like S or CH sounds come across especially noisy and painful, pushing out the bass. Perhaps for those hard of hearing this might be helpful for clarity though.Physically, the headset feels like high quality. I like the ear pads and the microphone is very very flexible. More flexible than any other I’ve played with and it doesn’t feel that flimsy. I do wish it moved more neatly out of the way, but at least it’s not in my line of sight when I have it up.I like this headset but really wish I could run it at max volume and experience deeper bass notes.

I got these in order to have a back up set of headphones for my laptop. I work providing virtual support for kids. A lot of that work is phonics based so having a good audio set up is key. I like having headphones as it allows me to focus on my students speech. I like having a back up pair of headphones in case my current ones die as it can be a pain to go and replace headphones and my students struggle when I use lower quality headphones as they cannot hear the sounds.First off I do like the sound quality of what I hear. The bigger ear pieces help to eliminate outside noises and there is some great background elimination. I was able to hear my students well. But they on the other hand had trouble hearing and understanding me. Students were making more errors as they couldn’t hear me as clearly. That is never a good thing. If anything I would like the reverse me having to work harder to hear my students and it be clear as day on their end. I’d like to note this is not the worst set of headphones out there by any means it is just not the best either. These are perfectly middle of the road in that regard but I personally need a headset that produces very clear sound.Second off it was a pain to figure out how to get this thing to work. Once I did it was fine but I almost declared it non-functioning as it took a lot of finagling to get the headset to even work. I ended up trying it 4-5 times before I figured out what all needed to be in what position for it to work. Even after all that I am not sure the charging cable works correctly as I am definitely not getting the promised battery life but I am over this headphones for the time being and not wanting to test the battery life any further because that would mean actually using it more when my students are so happy I switched back to my regular headphones. The headphones didn’t give any low battery warning and just turned themselves off and wouldn’t turn back on after the battery died.Comfort wise this is okay. I wear headsets about 20-30 hours a week so I am super picky in this area too. I do like the head padding and the ability to adjust the ear piece angles these are definitely above average and feel like much more expensive headphones. I really don’t like how hard and unpadded the middle of the headphone ear piece is. Of course that piece needs to be reasonably free of padding in order to hear but if I used this set a lot it was definitely going to be an issue. Not so much for the testing period as the foam was new and not so compressed. But after things compressed down and I had the same headphones on for full weeks at a time I definitely would notice how uncomfortable they are.Overall these are fine if you aren’t planning on using them a lot and don’t care too much about your sound quality to others. The price point is good on them and once you figure out the basics they may serve you well if your not too picky. I found them hard to figure out and the low quality sound issues were glaring.

The build quality at its price is pretty amazing. The bands and swivels actually have metal in them and not just plastic. The ear pads are pretty comfortable and feel nice and the fit overall is fine. The audio is really good at its price point too and the mic is okay. If you want better quality in the audio world you need to spend a considerable amount more than this headset.The functionality of it also makes it really good when you consider it is only $20. It can connect via Bluetooth, aux cable, USB A receiver, and USB C receiver. That does explain how it’s compatible with so many different devices and again that’s a huge plus at its price point.Definitely recommend this one as it’s comparable to something twice its price as far as features and quality go.
