Fun and nostalgic
Itâs impressive how technology has advanced .Itâs great to know that those big machines that we only had at the arcades or later on as expensive devices such as the PS, are now enclosed in such a small package.Playing it was a lot of fun and brought some of my childhood memories. The image and audio are good considering the resolution at which they worked at the time. The controls are also very responsive and comfortable.I just was expecting it to have more games, but overall is a lot of fun to have it.

You’re getting what you’re paying for
It is pretty easy to setup and it comes pre-loaded with lots of games. It has lots of heavy-hitter in the fighting genre like SF, KOF etc. I basically got this to play retro RPG, it has likes of Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Fire Emblem, Breath of Fire, it has my personal favorite Shinning Force 1 & 2 but you have to make an effort to find them as they could be named differently. Phantasy Star series is sorely missing but I can always side-load them.Okay so functionality wise, it does experience slow-downs but it’s not bad (I use it mainly for RPGs so it doesn’t matter to me), I’ve found the controllers to be responsive and I haven’t noticed any lags or delays, I did read about analog stick having lot of dead zone but I personally haven’t noticed as I prefer D pad to play retro games anyway.Technically it is able to play PS1 games but I wouldn’t recommend this device for that but I would recommend this for all the preceeding generations including the arcade machines. I am very happy with the purchase and can’t wait to put a custom rom on it ð

It lasted maybe a week.
Bought it for the family to cure the Christmas present curiosity. Out of the box it was amazing! We played a bunch of classic games that brought awesome childhood memories back.The next time we had a chance to play went well also.When my son and I had a spare moment in the evening, (the third time using), it wouldnât start up. It doesnât even send out a signal to the tv. My youth with the NES system kicked in and made me start the process, turn power off, take the parts and blow on em. Change wires and base. Change which port in the tv it was plugged into. Then finally , it came on the menus to pick game! But, it wouldnât let either controller, with fresh batteries, pick a game.So now we canât use it. Iâd like to return it for a new one, because I really wanted this to work. But honestly if we are going to get the same problem on a new one, weâd rather have our money back to buy a different one.

A taste of my childhood
I loved going to arcades growing up and playing fighting games. Well this thing gives me a taste of that in a way more cost efficient manner. This simple plug and play game has a variety of games that I love. The family favorite has been the Mario game so far which my kids were in awe of. Only downside is that it does freeze up if going back and forth between games but for the price I canât complain

Kind of disappointed
It does have 20k+ games but there are many duplicates, just a different country version. And the emulators are not the most popular. I think there are less than 10 Atari games. I’m just crossing my fingers that my boyfriend likes it. I really couldn’t find any of the more popular games I played in the 80s and 90s. I’m giving it 3 stars because it technically is as advertised, but for 20k+ games, you’d think there would be at least a few good ones.

It’s quite good overall and easy to play. Multiple language options. The SD card is already inserted into the slot. Note that additional USB power is required. Displays with HDMI can be used, you can try connecting a power bank. It’s a great way to pass the time and relive some childhood memories. The only downside is that I couldn’t find strategy games like Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
